It's the lack of Dixie that's bringing the shows down. The current product lacks her sweet supple southern touch. "Sweet Supple Southern Touch" oddly enough is the title of the erotic TNA fanfiction Dixie wrote starring MVP and amazing newcomer that everyone loves and is super strong and smart and beautiful, Trixie Harter.

I'll add to what I said with some good, some bad... earlier.
Overall I do think that the show is better, BUT I also think that TNA has also built up so much bad feeling among fans that the instant reaction with a long of things are crap.
I think there absolutely are some things wrong. Koya isn't good and his debut made him and Tigre Uno look awful. I thought the way they debuted Mark Andrews was bad. While the camera work the last 2 shows has been better than the first (Which was headache inducing) they still do some bad bad camera work. And while I do like the BDC, EY's turn was bad.
Now I do think there is good. I think commentary has improved a bit. I think Taz and Josh work a lot better together. They aren't perfect and they do have issues, but it's not as awkward as it was with Tenay. EC3 is still awesome. While I know people hate the yearly TNA heel stable, I do think the BDC works (and unlike past heel stables, they actually have guys that are credible enough threats to wrestle anybody on the card).
Is TNA perfect? Not even close, but I've actually enjoyed Impact a lot more the last couple weeks than WWE programming that isn't NXT. Part of that is taste for sure, but I feel like since going to Destination Impact (most) things actually make sense on TNA. How long that stays? Who knows.

People always claim that TNA is an easier place to work than WWE because of the schedule and travel and such, but my god - Jeremy Borash, someone who has been with TNA since the beginning is the living proof that being in TNA ages you more than WWE ever could. It's brutal to see. I guess it's not so bad if you're an older guy like a MVP or Lashley who has made the big WWE money and can now command a big money deal from TNA for minimal work and effort. At this point it's likely 20 dates a year and an opportunity to hang out with your old WWE buddies, get a couple of free international vacations and remain somewhat relevant on national television. For those guys who don't really care it's probably just fine. For the young guys who need TNA to have success because it's likely the biggest amount of exposure they'll ever receive or guys like Borash, Tenay etc who have a high amount of emotional investment in the company it must be absolutely heart breaking to live through and quite stressful. People on the boards joke about it but imagine going to work once every 8 weeks or so and not knowing if you'll have a job in a year from now because your boss is a moron. I can't imagine it's a nice feeling.

I wasn't really watching a whole lot of the last few weeks on Spike but I felt like for a while there they at least had some good stuff like Lashley beating all challengers clean and the ECIII and Spud feud. But the shows since the move to Destination America have been dire, and given us non-sensical turns, an overly complicated main event scene, and THIS. Is that Jeremy Borash?...shit...

I've enjoyed Impact since their return. I've watched more full episodes of impact than I have RAW, that's for sure.

Part of that is taste for sure, but I feel like since going to Destination Impact (most) things actually make sense on TNA. How long that stays? Who knows. My sentiments exactly. Still hate Taz on commentary but my man-crush Josh does a good job of working with Taz, and not conflicting with him like Tenay did. I was stoked when I heard Matthews was announcing on the debut episode, as I felt he was always damned good at the job. Me thinking he's hot bears no prejudice there. I've noticed Taz isn't screwing up nearly as much either, when before it felt like it was every other line. Not a fan of the BDC, but only because Joe had FINALLY gotten his momentum back. Was a threat and the fans were legitimately behind him again. Low-Ki was also doing great work by just being a badass in the ring. In my head I had fantasy bookings of he and Joe doing a best of 7 series for the X-Division Title. I'd preferred it was just MVP and Kenny King as a duo going after Lashley. Leave EY out of it, he was doing fine where he was. The sore for me is not having PPV's. or even a once a month "Clash of the Champions" type show. Something to build your feuds around. PPV's are good placeholders for storylines and right now it just feels like one long story without any emphasis on something to look forward to. I never read spoilers so I don't know if that changes or not.
