So, the internet is once again burning after a Royal Rumble, just like last year when Bryan was not allowed to enter the Rumble, and the year before that when Rock ended Punk's title reign...
What other matches/outcomes have been on this level of setting the IWC on fire in the past decade or so that are now mostly forgotten because well, we have short attention spans, admittedly.

Rock being Punk wasn't near as bad as this because, while it happened, there were great parts in their feud. They both looked amazing in it. Even Punk, although he lost, looked amazing.
This?
No. Bryan, Ambrose, Ziggler, Rusev, even big bad Bray Wyatt (the man who got some of these dudes out) was made to look like crap in order to make Reigns look good.
You can't compare it.

This isn't just pure smark outrage. It's a damn near revolt, probably even worse than last year's.

What's so damning is that they sacrificed everybody to the Reigns God.
They sacrificed Bryan, they sacrificed Ziggler, Ambrose...
They sacrificed Bray, they sacrificed Rusev...
Not a sacrifice, nobody's crying for them because they're bullet-proof by this point and this doesn't hurt them, but they did have him eliminate two 7-foot 20 year vets at the same time. Like I say, nobody's crying, but that's something too.
Then they have The Rock put him over.
Then the Authority comes out to try to "get some heat" (What an oxymoron tonight) on him.
If he gets it this bad still by then, they will have to do something at Fast Lane. Either he loses his number one contendership, or, MAYBE, double turn with Rollins?

Not really. The crowd didn't like it but I think they disliked Reigns winning than they did Bryan being eliminated. Had Ambrose or Ziggler won they'd have been fine. I think online is like when Presidential TV debates end and the spinning begins.

I use the label smark lovingly, being one myself (as we all are if we are here...) and this crowd tonight was a heavily "smarked up" crowd being a PPV crowd for one, and a Philly crowd on top of that.
I don't know why everyone is getting so defensive bout all this here. I disliked the ending too, and would have prefered Bryan or Dean win, but my wife is a casual fan and was elated that Reigns won.
Should I divorce her?

In this Rumble, we literally had fan-favorites getting tossed out anti-climatically by the big bad duo just to make the golden boy Reigns look strong by taking out said duo in the end.
