So a 0.18 rating is considered good? Da f**k? The channel it is on isn't that available to most people so I think it is

When it comes to shows on cable channels it's more about number of viewers than ratings. A show on cable that receives 4 millions will be considered the top show on cable, but a show receiving that number on network television is probably about to be canceled.

Yeah, and a ton of it comes down to expectations from advertisers. Anybody running ads on Impact while it's on Destination America will know they shouldn't expect enormous returns right away simply due to the network not being as widely available as Spike; hence, while they won't invest as much cash into the show, they'll also have lower expectations for what constitutes a good rating for the show. If TNA builds off this number some more (say they settle around 600,000-700,000 viewers on DA for a little while), advertisers will be pretty happy, and Destination America will be thrilled given how low most of their ratings are.
That's damning with faint praise, obviously, but that's why, say, TNA would be better off as a company pulling in 700,000 viewers on Destination America, while Raw would be in horrendous shape if it started pulling in only 2 million viewers on USA.

And we fall....
According to PWInsider last Friday had 431,000 viewers, down from 517,000 last week.

So TNA is giving them the number and screwing them over on it since just a week or two ago they said that was not the case. Shouldn't shock me but does for some reason.

Pretty sad that they will try and merge the original and the repeat's ratings to make them appear bigger than they are. But with their history, it's a wonder they didn't do this back when they had repeats Saturday on Spike.

It was a matter of time before the curiousity peak would subside, leaving the diehard TNA fans. I wonder if the next rating release will indicate fluctuation in viewership or a downward trend.

I found it weird that they went from mid 300k one week and over 500k the next. Especially when TV By The Numbers didn't even have them listed in the bottom 100. As I said, the instant Impact replay is to inflate the numbers. Surprised they are not adding the other showings including pop up Impact to boost the number higher. Still waiting on them to prove Wade Keller wrong.

& all of that of wow TNA is doing better then expected goodwill goes down the drain. 300 something is still decent for where they are at, they just better hope that new car smell doesn't subside from their newer viewers.

Pretty soon, Dixie will convince DA that they should run TNA 24/7, and she can go on to claim that more people watch TNA than the Super Bowl.

So the ratings this week were Thingy for the main show and Something for the replay.

With the way TNA tapes, they'd be better off trying to get a deal with Netflix. I mean, they tape months worth of shows in a week anyway. Just throw 13-20 shows together, call it "Impact NYC: season 1", and release it as a series. I mean, how much worse can it be?
TV for non-WWE wrestling is dead and has been for years.

Sad, but not very surprising, carny bullshit again. Just give the separate ratings, dummies.
