Listening to the Observer radio shows on the Rumble the funniest part is when Dave Meltzer realizes why R-Truth was used for all D-Von's spots and his disgusted reaction of it. Like, "Really, Vince? Really?" As far as things that show how in the past Vince's ways of thinking are I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned more. I didn't realize Dave was a racist, but it sounds like it.

I mean Truth doing the WAZZUP made the most sense of anyone on the roster though You got the right answer. WHAT'S Up= Wazzup, and he was capable of doing both spots. With everything on the PPV, you'd think people wouldn't have to reach for something to complain about.

Thing is, if they used a white guy doing the Dvon Dudley spots last night, WWE would be called racist. So they use a black guy, WWE are still called racist. Easy solution: "The Rock! Get the tables!"

There is no possible way Vince or HHH can understand what it means to be a black person in the USA, so I understand their latent built in racism. And I forgive them for it because they cannot help it.

I read on another board that they had actually done this spot in TNA years ago and even tagged together, so there's a little more to it than random black guy = D-von.

Well, I mean, would anyone here cast a white person to be the replacement D-von? I think the most egregious thing about it is basically that R-truth is the go to guy whenever they need a black guy to do something.

Well, let's see what other black people could they have used? Big E? Xavier Woods? Darren Young? Alicia Fox? Booker T? Michael Hayes?

Then I thought today, you know, he just half-assed ran through his shit as fast as possible and didn't actually do it. Truth didn't get the tables, they didn't do Wazzzzzzzzuuuuuppp.....they hit the 3D. Is Bubba back for reals or was it just a nod to Philly and he did a one night appearance?

I'd guess it's a one night thing. A couple of years ago I think Bully Ray could have been amazing Cena foil but the roster is so heavily packed right now, I don't know where he'd fit in.

What blows my mind is that k kwick is on the active roster in 2015.

On one hand, they've worked with each other before, and yeah, R-Truth has done D-Von's spots before. So if anything, he would be replacement D-Von.
On the other hand, he's the go to guy for a black people jokes way too often. And I'm not sure that says something about the E, or him (totally cool with it, has a sense of humor, he's a clown or worse, mileage may vary)

With everything on the PPV, you'd think people wouldn't have to reach for something to complain about. Except, Truth didn't say "What's up" before doing the spot. He just did it. It's probably a minor thing to complain about, but this is the WWE. A wrestling promotion run by old white men. Let's not pretend that they think logically when it comes to race, especially with their history.
