I'm a big fan of Bray Wyatt. He's a great talker, a captivating presence and a guy who carries himself with passion and meaning between the ropes.
That being said, does it strike anyone else that he hews a bit too close to being a stereotypical Redditor? He's a chubby dude with a beard, a fedora (or, my bad, a trilby), and a penchant for rambling pseudo-intellectual #edgy promos that can come across like a teenager's first introduction to moral relativism. There's a part of me that wants to see them just take it all the way, and have him start wearing a trench coat, calling Renee Young "m'lady" and regularly making references to being "euphoric".

Yup and ironic white or brown pants and the tattoo's. If you really want to ruin his career you can easily reveal that he's a hipster from Brooklyn living on his daddies (IRS) trust fund

Like he just went to a couple of classes and then dropped out and created this persona.

I think the Wyatt character could turn the expose of being just another 'trust fund kid' and make it work in his favor. Call out his "so called maker" - IRS - and just destroy him. Say the boy he raised is dead, there is only the monster before him. The only family he ever needed was Sister Abigail....etc... It'd add depth to his persona for sure.

I would not be a fan of that. I want him revealed as a fraud and exposed.

The philosophy 101 level stuff got old to me really fast with Wyatt. Mate, I got freshmen here who'd explode that shit. It's typical when a lot of pro-wrestling goes 'heady'. Flick the pages of a thesaurus, nip out a couple nifty adjectives and boom! done. It's actually kinda miffing when you've got the like of Bockwinkel and Roberts on tap to just nail home how utterly devoid Wyatt's waffle is of meaning. Also, spare me the "he's supposed to be a cult leader selling a lie". The lie has to actually make sense in the first place. A massive 'YES!' in terms of everything else and just a 'no, please, don't' in terms of the content.

I would not be a fan of that. I want him revealed as a fraud and exposed. Bo needs to be the one to expose him, though. I feel like it's the only thing that's going to stop ol' Mumbles McOuthouse from wasting away in Margaritaville. "And people say that I'm the insincere one!"

I like him, but I've always thought that his eyes look and face look too soft for the character. ...that's my petty perspective. But nah, I love his gimmick. Is it as deep as some people think it is? Of course not, but it's pretty darn good.

I like it when he was debuting and his promos were more ambiguous, he was basically evil without going over the top, more human.

A trilby is close enough to a fedora that I say it counts. Also don't forget his attention grabbing bright white pants.
In Wyatt's next feud he will feud with a diva and talk about men's rights.

I think Wyatt as a pretentious rich kid gone mad would be a great element to add to his character. He should ideally still act like a charismatic outsider, but that combined with the idea of him as a closet man of wealth and privilege could make him really hated as a hypocritical heel.
