It's always kind of funny when TNA interrupts their own show momentum to please a local audience, like with their ECW revival on their last string of shows. I know Grado has a pretty solid reputation but to most of TNA's audience no one's gonna have any idea who he is and why he's main eventing all of a sudden and as much as I love Al Snow, him in the main event is totally gonna elicit an "Al Snow is still wrestling?" response.
Heartbroken for Drew Galloway, he seems really on point lately so maybe he'll be like Christian Cage where he kills it in spite of the world around him but it's gonna be an uphill climb. I was hoping he'd pop in ROH.

Don't know if Drew is only on the UK tour or not. PWInsider's report is a little confusing, they say he and TNA have been talking for weeks, he has signed and will be on the remainder of the UK tour but make no mention of anything after that.

True and I would def hope the issue between them is cured. & a part of me think this is part time for Drew considering he's doing well for himself out there unless TNA made him a substantial offer he couldn't refuse. The good thing about TNA's move to DA is they're opening their contracts again so unless there would be a conflict with two shows running the same day or time he wouldn't be forced to choose. Is that so? God, I hope they actually keep that up again; I honestly think allowing wrestlers more freedom of movement is the way more companies should go, even if they have national aspirations. Obviously if TNA is currently doing that a big reason why is their financial situation post-Spike, but with the recent mini-boom of wrestling promotions getting cable TV slots, it practically begs to become almost a new territory system, in a way, and more open contracts make that a lot more feasible. I get the thinking behind more exclusive contracts: "you can only catch so-and-so on OUR show, nobody else's!". But that line of thinking just feels very outdated. If that lasts, then it adds to why nearly dying may have been a good thing for TNA: combine it with the fact that they had to trim the roster down and stop wasting spaces on guys who were supposed to be big ratings draws, and it's actually a nice development. ...Of course, it's absurd it took the company almost failing for that to happen, and clearly Dixie has not learned a ton of lessons, herself, but, meh, baby steps, I guess.

Hearing that Grado came out to "Like A Prayer", like he does in all the other promotions he appears in. Good luck getting that one cleared to air on Destination America. Was it his knock-off version? TNA can pull an "ECW" with that entrance theme.

McIntyre is a decent signing but again it's TNA just bringing in the WWE guys. The only WWE guy they should currently be interested in is Del Rio. Apart from him they should be looking at future guys.
As good as McIntyre is you aren't going to have new fans checking out TNA simply because he's there and he likely won't be there 12 months from now.

I'm begging TNA to do whatever it takes to get Chavo back solely to have him, Drew, and Taryn together again. Why Chavo?

Drew also has a bunch of other projects going on, so it wouldn't shock me if this is a test run for both (especially since Drew is Gabe's new Golden Boy) The bigger issue was a lot of guys were not allowed to work the indies that film shows AND were on pay per appearance deals so they weren't making a lot of money either way (that's what happened with The Young Bucks)

Even then, the problem with opening contracts too much is that, if there's one rule of thumb in all of wrestling, it's that "promoters can be some petty bastards." Having contracts not be exclusive isn't just "catch them only on OUR show, nobody else's!", but also to prevent the petty moves promoters would be all too willing to make. Best case for a contract too open, you have a company like, say, Lucha Underground bring someone like Austin Aries or Bobby Roode in solely to job them out to the roster and make them look better than TNA guys, and worst-case, you have WWE steal Lashley, James Storm, Abyss, Low-Ki, Taryn Terrell, Rockstar Spud, Austin Aries, and Magnus to steal every champion and briefcase holder just because they CAN (and this IS a worry for TNA- they closed ranks on their contracts in large part because they pushed Shannon Moore huge with an open contract, started to make him a star- then WWE signed him away from TNA just because they could).

Their best signing in years was EC3, a "WWE cast off". If pushed and given a chance to develop a character, a lot of guys have potential to contribute even if released by the WWE at some point. They just need new/fresh talent period. Roster is paper thin and have a lot of TV miles on them. Fresh faces would be nice.

Del Rio stated in a good few interviews now that he wanted to work with TNA and LU in 2015. The only reason Del Rio is not on TNA TV at this moment, at least from what I can work out from information given, is on their end as they wanted total exclusivity from him. They were not willing to budge on that so he did not sign.

There was a period in late 2014 where I liked nothing he did unless it was with Spud. He seems to be picking up pace again but I wouldn't say he was their best signing in years. I'd put Spud above him and probably Lashley as well. I don't disagree with you though. If they want to take guys who had a cup of coffee in the WWE or were in NXT that's fine but they seem to chase guys like McIntyre, MVP, Tyrus etc simply because they were in WWE and they throw huge money at them before the talent quickly gets lost in the shuffle. It's happened to Tyrus and now he's just an overpaid bodyguard for EC3 when there are 50 guys on the indies who could have done it for considerably less.

EC3 is being mishandled almost as poorly as he was in NXT.
Borash? Brodus Clay? Anderson? Ugh.
