if it weren't for what Vince did for 30 years, most of us wouldn't be wrestling fans. This. The man is getting older and some of his recent choices have been a bit out there, but with that aside, he changed the whole industry. He made a life long wrestling fan out of me.

By all accounts when people are in trouble and need help, he's there for them.

He has, not once, ever tried to sacrifice my cat in a Satanic ritual...
Seriously, he dies a ridiculous amount of charity work...and not just for causes at which to throw money. It's family-oriented charity work. It's also the hardest cases as well: Special Olympics, Make-A-Wish, etc.

In all seriousness, as has been said, any bad decisions he's made are overshadowed by the good. He's shaped wrestling into what it is today, he's extremely entertaining, he seems like a nice guy, and I've rarely heard people talk bad about him.

He truly does never ask anyone to do anything that he wouldn't do.
This guy has had his head smashed in with chairs, had his face stuck up a man's ass, pissed his pants on live TV, and been raped by Stone Cold with a plastic tube.

He and his employees have made me smile at least a million times. That's worth more than anything I could have ever disagreed with.
By all accounts he is a kind, charitable guy.

Telling Mushnick and the PTC where they could stick it when they were bashing wrestling at every possible turn.

He's the reason most of us love wrestling. Heck, he's the reason why this site exists, even with how it's evolved.

That's more of a double edged sword, when you think about it. Sure, he wouldn't tell you to do anything he wouldn't do, but the fact is he is also willing to take those chairshots to the head or do steroids and other behaviors that are part of the seedy side of this business.

The one thing I've always loved about Vince as a performer is his willingness to be absolutely embarrassed on TV by his talent. He can make me laugh like crazy and smile seeing him get his comeuppance.

He understands the concept that the authority figure needs to be a coward.
HHH and Stephanie don't. They always must be the coolest people in the room.

Arguably the best actor in wrestling history.

I think he genuinely does try to listen to the fans and give them what they want, provided it's something he can understand- he understands The Rock, he understands John Cena, he wanted Big E in that mould, but HHH got him to pick Roman, and Vince doesn't really understand Roman so books him the way he'd have booked Big E. He doesn't understand Cesaro, hence his comments on him, he doesn't understand Punk or Bryan, hence them never getting the ball. I don't think it's "I'll tell you what you want!" so much as a more egocentric "But how can you want that when I don't? How can you not want this when I do? *I* want it, so it must be popular." which is pretty common in a lot of successful businessmen.
He's also a terrific actor and promo who I legit always enjoy onscreen, and without him, almost all of pro wrestling would never have existed as it did/does. I'll crap on some of his decisions, especially these days, but overall I love Vince.
