I had never see Zayi before NXT but when I started watching and saw the guy within a few weeks you see the connection he has with the crowd and you think there is no way he won't be the most popular guy on the roster and be the guy who gets pushed
Having said that, we've seen over the past couple of years that sometimes not enough so honesty its a coin toss if he'll make it past the mid card

Not far enough until Vince pisses off. Sami is humble and extremely likeable, so naturally Vince will hate him.

my heart tells me he'll get saddled with some "huh?!?!?!" gimmick, flounder in the mid card, and win his first 2 matches then lose every match for 4 months. just enough to force an illogical heel turn. then we'll get another Vince McMahon "damn millennials can't get over," speech.

IC title I'm sure. I don't know about WWE champion, but I hope so.

Dude is the most pure babyface on the roster right now. He's far too f***ing likeable. He might not have a look that'll bring folk to an arena but he'll make sure they leave as a fan. If he does not hold the world title at any point in his career, WWE has f***ed up.

There are people that say his work is eerily similar to that of "The Generic Luchador" El Generico. But they can't be the same guy as El Generico went back to Tijuana to help at his orphanage. As far as Zayn is concerned, I fully expect him to not be particularly successful until Vince buggers off, but you can say that of most guys.

teaming with Kane seems likely I see what you did here, but still; why would you want to bring that kind of bad juju on Sami?

Aw-gosh comedy style character that Divas bandy about for a couple weeks before they seemingly forget him and have a feud with another Diva while he's on Main Event beating Titus O'Neill in 'a major upset' before showing up on Raw and getting way laid out by a Sister Abagail
The replacement Kofi for MITB matches since Kofi has now fallen so far that he'll barely make the pre-show on that PPV.
Guy John Cena 'respects' but doesn't really do anything to help.
...I'm slightly pessimistic today.

He's got all the potential to be another Daniel Bryan, but whether they let him get there or not is a whole different story
