It's kind of weird to compare Lesnar matches before and after Mania 30, because he's a completely different beast in each period. Before Mania 30, he's the cocky, legitimate fighter who breaks apart and bullies his opponents into submission. But after Mania 30, he's a complete force of nature, like a walking hurricane who obliterates anything that dares to stand in his path.
Both periods produced good matches, but the stark difference in presentation of Lesnar really makes it difficult to compare them on a similar scale.

Both Extreme Rules '12 and Rumble '15 are my go-to matches for Brock's best. In both of them, unlike most of the others, he looks most like an absolute monster.
Probably Punk next, although Brock looks a little weak in that and the Heyman interference got irritating. And Summerslam '13, where he certainly looks like a monster but it means Cena doesn't get the opportunity to do much apart from just sell.
The HHH matches were all much of a muchness. Not bad, just not Brock as a fire-breathing monster. The Taker one was terrible, due to Reasons. And the Show match was just A Match, albeit booked pretty right.

I'll try and rank them... 1. Cena, Extreme Rules 2. Cena/Rollins, Royal Rumble 3. Punk, Summerslam 4. Cena, Summerslam 5. Triple H, Summerslam 6. Cena, Night of Champions 7. Triple H, Extreme Rules 8. Triple H, Wrestlemania 9. Undertaker, Wrestlemania 10. Big Show, Royal Rumble Pretty big gap after the first 4, and the last three pretty much just flat out suck. I still feel like his first match against Cena is the best, because it's just perfection as far as story goes. Pretty much this. Though I have to admit a guilty pleasure in enjoying the Big Show match for what it was. Just a destruction of a stale character by the beast.

If Brock had won, the Extreme Rules match with Cena would have been a perfect wrestling match.
Cena's victory ruins it for me.

ER 2012, simply because it is unlike any wrestling match I've ever seen. It barely even qualifies as wrestling, and Cena got f***ing demolished.
RR2015 is a close second, followed by vs. Punk at Summerslam and then Cena at Summerslam the year after.

Easily his first match back, only Punk gets anywhere close.
I've hated Cena for coming back after taking less of a beating than Brock did at the rumble (no-selling the concrete floor against Nexus), although to be fair Brock isn't Cena so I know that's not a fair comparison it's just a personal pet peeve of mine that detracts the match.

ER 2012, simply because it is unlike any wrestling match I've ever seen. It barely even qualifies as wrestling, and Cena got f***ing demolished. RR2015 is a close second, followed by vs. Punk at Summerslam and then Cena at Summerslam the year after. Pretty much. The way I see it, Brock was a near unstoppable beast in 2012 and 2013 (but HHH had to get a clean victory over him) but then after beating the Undertaker, Brock (in kayfabe) absorbed some of Undertaker's powers and is now basically immortal. Before Wrestlemania 30, Brock still demolished people but he would also run away and rely on Heyman interfering to help him beat HHH and Punk. Since beating Undertaker though he has been more or less unstoppable. Still though, his first match back at Extreme Rules was a kind of match I had never seen before. Brock just MMA ground and pounding Cena into the dirt. Cena only got lucky with the win. Forget the whole HHH feud. Another thing I hated about that was the Heyman segment where he mentioned HHH's kids and Stephanie marches out and beats him up. In what universe am I supposed to cheer for HHH and especially Stephanie. They are excelllent heels because they are so unlikeable. The Punk match was an awesome match. Demolished Show with a chair. His match against Taker wasn't good but HE BROKE THE STREAK. He got his revenge on Cena in another unique match at Summerslam. I have never seen a top face demolished like that. I cannot imagine that happening to Austin or Rock. Night of Champions was okay, Brock still looked unstoppable but it was suggested Cena had him beat. Royal Rumble was phenomenal. Brock is a monster.

That Royal Rumble match is among the greatest WWE matches of the past ten years.
