Turn Roman heel as this is clearly not going to work.Turn Ambrose heel as his face run has run out of steam due to it being silly or him losing every major match, plus he is too slimed/scuzzy as a face. Then we have Roman going up against a face Lesnar with back up.

As cool as a Triple Powerbomb on Lesnar would be, I think this is a bad idea.
That said, I think they'll reform it someday and when they do, it'd get a huge pop. Probably something like Rollins giving the vest to Dean when they had a big enough common threat and saying it was time to believe in something again. Cheesy, maybe, but people would lose their shit.

They can't do it as "They're back but this is the top dog and here's his backup." That is not The Shield. They all need to be the same level and have a common goal. Its what made them unique and great.

Got it. Watch me work.
- Turn Roman heel as he has a nice heel run in 2015-2016 and he's beaten at WM32 in 2016. Ambrose stays face as Rollins turns face shortly before Summerslam 2015 - Next night on Raw as Roman's cutting a promo he's attacked by 3 new debuting superstar - We find out the Authority's debuted 3 new NXT guys to take care of 3 failed superstars (former Shield) - Shield reunites all as faces to take on the new threat
I would have done it in 2015 but Roman's gonna have to turn heel soon. Rollins I can see turning later this year as his title run will probably be over with. As soon as he loses the title, it'll be easy to turn him.

Could work. Especially for the usual after-Mania reset.
Have Roman (and Ambrose) lose at Mania, while Rollins wins convincingly. The following night on RAW, Reigns interrupts Lesnar's celebration/retirement and stuns him with the Superman punch. Ambrose appears from nowhere to hit him with the steel ring steps. Rollins music hits and he runs down with the MitB case. Roman hits Brock with another Superman Punch which sends him right into Dirty Deeds from Ambrose which causes him to fall into the steel steps where he's curb-stomped by Rollins. Cash-in. 1, 2, 3.
A week later, Rollins explains that Roman did what he did because the fans **** all over him in his moment of triumph. And Ambrose is just freakin' nuts. HHH congratulates the Shield and welcomes them all to the Authority but eats that Triple Powerbomb as the Shield doesn't recognize or even *recognize* Authority.

I don't know about turning Ambrose, but imagine this scenario to end Wrestlemania.
Lesnar defeats Roman at the main event of Wrestlemania clean, but Lesnar finally acknowledges respect for Reigns (since the ending segment on Monday made it clear that Lesnar does not respect Reigns), and shakes his hand in the middle of the ring, as the smarky Wrestlemania crowd boos this turn of events. As Roman exits the ring, Seth Rollins's music hits and he comes down with the briefcase, ready to cash in his title shot. As Seth Rollins is about to enter the ring, Lesnar turns around and gets hit with a Superman Punch, and then as Brock is wobbly from the surprise attack, a Spear soon follows. This allows Rollins to enter the ring unchallenged, and the bell rings with Lesnar in perfect position for a Curb Stomp. 1-2-KICKOUT. Crowd starts going nuts thinking that Brock might still have a chance at this. Rollins goes for the Curbstomp again, and Brock catches him in the Fireman's Carry. Roman jumps up on the apron, and the split second is all it takes for Seth to slide out, kick Brock in the gut, and jump in for a second Curbstomp and Rollins wins the WWE title. Seth and Roman stare each other down in the ring, and Roman offers up his fist. Seth reciprocates, and a new deadly alliance is born.
Seth Rollins is the WWE champion, and Roman Reigns, in frustration of having lost his shot at the big one, decides to take the low road of aligning with the man that stabbed him in the back because he knows it's the sure way to success. This might be the only way for Rollins to cash in at Wrestlemania, and not turn face in the process, at least as far as the audience is concerned.

I eagerly await a Shield reunion, but that should be years down the road, to combat another disruptive faction or something. Hard to think of anything that would make me mark out harder.

I think it will be a while before they can do one of these and not have some people dismiss it as "Roman and his little buddies".

Imo Any Shield members of the same alignment should be teaming up regularly.

This....I would really like to see, actually. They're not really faces, they're not heels, they're just The Shield. They can fit any role between anti-hero face and monster heels as a faction. This is about as good a way to reform them as I can imagine. Although I wouldn't do it yet- Ambrose has had no revenge on Rollins, so them reconciling would seem a bit out of the blue, plus it's not even been a year since they broke up yet- I'd like it but you could let more time pass til the fans REALLY want the reunion- ideally I'd hold out til they've all been world champions, as then they are the ultimate uber-group.

If DX can reunite multiple times without really explaining why HHH and HBK are suddenly best friends, then it should be really easy to just have The Shield reunite without explanation.
I would like to see them use the Shield reunion as a way to debut some new blood (Balor, Itami, Owens being the obvious choices). They could have them debut by atacking Seth Rollins (who would be world champ at this point). Then they target Dean Ambrose the next week and Roman Reigns the week after. Eventually they go after Rollins again but this time the old Shield music hits and Ambrose and Reigns come down and save Rollins. It should be that easy to reunite them and it would no doubt get a great reaction

A year or so down the line, sow the seeds for a Seth face turn provided the other two haven't turned. Find a common enemy, say if the Authority puts a mega faction together of guys like Brock, Rusev etc and there needs to be one group to fight against them. That initial SIERRA HOTEL INDIA ECHO LIMA DELTA will destroy the roof of any arena.
