Let me just state that as somebody who, at the age of 5, demanded that our family vacation was centered around a trip to Nick Studios (We were going to Florida anyway, so why not?), and as somebody who witnessed the studio tour and the eruption of the slime geyser, and as somebody who stole roughly ten sheets of "Nickelodeon Studios" customized printed toilet paper from the men's room at the studios (I actually have a whole roll of it at home now, incidentally, but I cannot find where the hell it is though.), the day that I first heard of the closure of the Orlando studios was quite tragic. Some of the best memories of my youth revolve around that trip to Florida, and, in general, that trip to Nick Studios.
Anyway, I stopped watching the network completely when Double Dare stopped airing in that weekend (very) early morning slot back in '98 or '99.

I can't believe they got away with that... so stereotypical, I figured SOME group would come out against it. Nah not with orange soda now if they said GRAPE soda then and only then would i pull the stereo card out

There are others I've heard of (watermelons, fried chicken), but not orange/grape soda.

Orange soda is a stereotype. Among human beings with souls.
If you don't drink orange soda, you don't deserve children.

Besides, if orange soda was a black stereotype, it'd be a blessing because there aren't enough good stereotypes.

This reminds me of that Lemon Demon/Trapezoid song "Stick Stickly". Good times.
Rocko's Modern Life = Best of the Nicktoons.

I still don't talk to my nephews cause of that.

Geez, Adam West gets around, doesn't he? One minute, he's a normal, everyday resident of Wellsville; the next, he's the mayor of Quahog.
He's gonna be President one day.
BANK ON IT.

Hey Dude, Salute Your Shorts, Nick Arcade, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Pete and Pete, All That, Welcome Freshmen, Double Dare, Guts, Clarissa Explains it All, Doug, Rocko, Stick Stickly and all his summer time antics.
My childhood were centered on these shows. In a good time I like to call Nick in the 90's: The Glory Days.
