Pretty early on in 2007.
It just stopped being fun to watch. The PPV's were all blending together with ridiculous stipulations and rematches galore.

2011.
I was able to accept that TNA thought Hulk Hogan would final bring the company to the next level, but by the end of 2010 all of Hogan's ideas failed, he didn't improve ratings aside from his debut, and TNA still had him under his huge contract that was losing the company money.
By the end of 2011 TNA was just a sad company that almost became as popular as ECW, but thanks in part to Hogan it didn't happen.
and they still had him under contract for 2 more years.

I was able to watch it off and on up until last year, when it became f***ing unbearable. Even when it was garbage, there was some good stuff to get out of it. As soon as it was obvious that AJ was on his way out, I made sure I wasn't making any time for it.

2015. Because Destination America is such a great channel to be on that my current U-Verse package can not grasp the vastness of quality that it possesses, and thus does not carry it.
As far as when I stopped taking it seriously - more or less 10-10-10 and the Impact that followed.

As any sort of future competition - 2010 (They brought in arguably one of the biggest wrestlers in the world at that time (Jeff Hardy)and yet there was no kind of ratings bump or any kind of extra attention)
As a real alternative to WWE - 2012 (They had their own pretty much top to bottom made Star in Austin Aries as champion and 3 months later they turn him heel at the go home show to BGF and had Jeff Beat him)

When Spike moved Impact to Wednesdays, I kept forgetting it was on. And then I finally remembered it was on and watched it. And it was so bad I just said "it's time to stop" and I haven't watched it since.

It's probably the only wrestling show I make time to watch. I like lucha underground, but I've fallen behind.

I've pretty much given up a few times, but mostly just because I'd forget about watching for a bit, but I'd always find myself watching it again a few months later. Last year though I did flat out give up, almost a year ago actually. the WWE Network launched and I was much more interested in watching NXT live as it aired and when I tried watching Impact later on DVR, I realized I just didn't care anymore so I just gave up on watching.
I probably would have done that sooner, but I pretty much always wrote for a wrestling site so I had to be up to date on Impact. I kept watching out of habit for a year and a half or so before giving up for good.

First time I stopped watching TNA was after Victory Road '11. Letting Hardy go out to the ring was something a low rent indy fed would do and that made me sick.
After that I didn't watch anything TNA for over a year and gave up watching Impact again early last year after most of my favorites left. Now I Just check highlights on the TNA youtube channel if I hear about anything really good or bad.

I've pretty regularly gone on sabbaticals from watching TNA; they've had so many changes in the booking team over the years that at times it'd feel like you'd get a few decent months, then a few crappy ones, a few solid ones, but they'd run together so badly you'd lose track.
I watched pretty regularly from about 2004-2007, or so, if I remember correctly. I phased in and out numerous times after that; for example, I remember not watching for a lot of 2009, but then being happy that I got back into it in time for the AJ vs. Joe title feud and the Angle vs. Wolfe feud, along with the first couple of months of the Hogan regime which were actually not too bad (I remember Against All Odds 2010 being a fun show).
My patience for it ran out relatively quickly, and I really stopped watching for awhile once they didn't give Roode the big BFG win against Angle in 2011; that was right around the time Raw did the "walkout angle", and I basically cut wrestling out of my life for a bit.
I sat through Aces and Eights, then pretty much stopped watching when they blew the payoff and didn't re-sign AJ; like, I watched the UK tour where MVP debuted, which had some decent shows on it, but the payoff was dead. I came back late last year once the roster started getting cut and the booking became simpler, but I ignored it for a good chunk of the year before that.
So yeah, I can't say I've ever been fully driven away, but I've had plenty of times I've tuned in, then walked away, come back, lather-rinse-repeat, etc.

Honestly the end of 2013 was the last draw. When I found out AJ was leaving, then saw Bad Influence leave, and Sting. That they resigned a bunch of guys at the time that was less talented. I knew the time was coming. The TV tapping then was tapped so far ahead it was getting bad. Watching 2014 seeing TNA doing almost the same stuff as the WWE, losing Spike TV, and coming to a smaller network with the same crap. I know now they never be huge.
I didn't give them much a chance not long after Hogan came in because it didn't take long before all the good was going away and we getting crap like the Nasty Boys and Bubba the love Sponge. I was giving up mostly with a small window of hope.
