Another day, another helmet redesign. This one by paulbunyandesign.com Full gallery here. The Bears helmet is ok I guess. I like the background on San Diego's & Denver's. The Giants & Jets are OK, & Tennessee's would look better if it was just the flames. Green Bay sucks. So does their helmet redesign. Man, those look terrible. At least he didn't do much to Dallas's, but most of the rest just look awful.

Just a correction on the last post, Peterson is not back. Judge just ruled against the NFL on the appeal. Heading back into the CBA process, he's still suspended as of now.
Reason it was kicked back was that the injuries to his son happened before the updated personal conduct policy on domestic abuse was in place. Court ruled that should be followed and the arbitrator neglected the law when deciding the appeal. A technicality but it is what it is.

The Bucs are "leaning toward" linking FSU QB Jameis Winston's off-field "problems" are due to immaturity, according to the MMQB's Peter King.
"And not because he’s a bad guy," King writes.
Like this can't end badly

The NFL is appealing independent arbitrator David Doty's ruling in the Adrian Peterson case to the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and will keep Peterson on the commissioner's exempt list in the interim.
If this all seems dense and confusing, it's because it is. There's no telling how much longer Peterson will remain in limbo. The league seems more concerned with precedent than whether Peterson was fairly punished. It certainly doesn't care about Peterson's 2015 status, which will be greatly complicated if the matter isn't resolved by the time free agency begins on March 10.
AD and Hardy could have a good case on their hands

Its like since the Ray Rice thing he doesn't want to make a decision so indefinite suspensions for everyone.

He and the NFLPA would have appealed that too, under the fact that the actions punished were done before the collective bargaining agreement.

Dolphins Release WR Brian Hartline I'd love for Philly to pick him up, especially if it's near the veteran minimum.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer confirms the Browns are "still in the running" for free agent Josh McCown.
Profootballtalk reports the Cardinals released DE Darnell Dockett because the sides couldn't agree on his market value.
Browns would be stupid enough to sign him
