Dallas re-signed Cole Beasley. Happy bout that, he's become one of my favorite dudes on the team.

CBS' Jason La Canfora reports new Bills RB LeSean McCoy is expected to "make noise about wanting an extension," and could even threaten to decline to report to training camp.
Yahoo Sports reports Adrian Peterson is pondering potential trade destinations, and is willing to consider a contract restructure to facilitate a deal.

Andre Johnson says he "laughed at" Bill O'Brien after the Texans' coach recently informed him he would only catch around 40 balls if Johnson returned to the team in 2015. "They gave me my role, and I just laughed at them," Johnson said. "How do you tell a guy who is used to catching 80 balls a year that he was going to catch 40?" O'Brien also told Johnson he "wasn't even likely to be a starter" in 2015. "So I was real honest with him: 'If that's your role for me, you're going to be dealing with a miserable football player,'" Johnson told O'Brien. That sad sack ass franchise wasted the prime of one of the best receivers of his generation. They should be embarrassed

I'll just second all the "uhhhh" gifs and comments from before on the McCoy deal.
With the 3.5 m cap hit for the trade this year it still frees up another 8.5 this year leaving them over 40M under the cap. They're up to something in Philly.
edit : Wait and just saw that Cole is gonna get cut too? There's another 8.5 million, holy crap almost $50m to spend. They are about to buy themselves a defense.

Miami is apparently the front runner for Ndamakung Suh's services. Currently offering 6/100.
Ray Rice is going to get $1.5 million for wrongful termination.

Acquiring LeSean McCoy is a nice get for the Bills, but they still need someone who can throw the ball.

Sent him to the Bills, may as well have sent him to Siberia, they probably have a better QB at least.

With Winston a forgone conclusion going to Tampa and probably starting day 1, do you think Tampa would ship Glennon to Buffalo for a 3rd.
If I was Buffalo that's where I'd be going as the draft for them will probably be no help this year. With a nice 1-2 on the outside and now with McCoy ahead of Fred Jackson and Boobie, I think Glennon has shown enough that with some talent around him he would at worst be serviceable at best very good.

I would take the flyer on Glennon. The thing that scares me is they go for Sanchez or worse Hoyer.

I don't get those kinds of rebuilds. You've got a ton of cap space, but that doesn't mean you're going to spend it all. And who builds a contender through free agency? All you're doing is making more holes for your roster. Shady and Trent Cole are tough guys to replace. I get that they weren't Kelly's guys and they always want to build "their team", but at what cost? Do you stick with Foles at QB? Where are they going? Because to me it looks like backwards. Also, tough to hear on Andre Johnson. AJ is a class guy through and through. To tell him he wouldn't start when all they have is Hopkins is just weird. Why would you treat him like that? If you're going in another direction, just tell him that and release him. Shady is getting the same treatment. And fan bases hate it when a player leaves their team for money. Why would anyone have loyalty to these teams? Get your money while you can.

I guess this is good for the Giants that McCoy is out of the division, but Rex Ryan does not deserve nice things

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports the Cardinals, Jets, Dolphins, and 49ers are "potential suitors [with] considerable interest" in free agent C.J. Spiller.

Pretty happy to hear about the McCoy trade to be honest. Was pissed when I first saw it, but think it's a great move after thinking about it.
McCoy has more carries than any RB in the league over the past two seasons and turns 27 in July. He's about to go off that cliff that all RBs do. Kiko was a beast his rookie year and gives us our second ILB, meaning we can cut DeMeco Ryans now too for even more cap space.
Throw in getting rid of Shady's huge contract and I'm in. Now we need to resign Maclin and go after Maxwell and maybe McCourty. Really hopeing that we don't go crazy and try and land Mariota. It will cost way to much and kill us in the long run.

Still can't figure out this trade, unless Kelly is trying to change the logo of the Eagles into a duck. That's 9 former Ducks that he coached (and remember he was only coach 4 years) on the roster.
To trade him for a guy that's missed 2 out of his last 4 football seasons with knee injuries? I just don't understand this one at all.
Just think he's trying to get people to fit his system and easiest way to do it is to get the guys he coached previously. Problem is this isn't college. IDK just don't understand this one. If McCoy was maybe 29 or 30 ok fine. Not a 27 year old with no injury history since high school.
