Good luck with that, Minnesota. That's kinda the point They don't want to trade him Fine. Good luck with that, Adrian Peterson's agent. In all seriousness the Vikes should probably get what they can for him, at some point his body is just going to give out on him with his physical running style and starting to get up there in age. 30 for an NFL RB is like 75 for a regular person.

Its like Cartman saying your breaking my balls at any offer. Say its going to take a lot incase
A: Someone actually gives it to you
B: When you have to take less you started high so you can give the image of compromise when you actually got what you want

I honestly have no problem whatsoever with the Eagles signing Tebow. Tebow's coming in to compete for a third string spot. Matt Barkley, the current 3rd string has shown absolutely nothing so far, so I'd let the two battle it out and cut the loser.
Besides, if Tebow can excel in any offense in the NFL, it'll be Chip's.

This Tebow signing is actually the first thing that Chip has done this offseason that makes sense. Don't know why he didn't get him last year. He's the perfect backup for that system.
Maybe Chip is finally learning you can't just plug anyone into his system and have it work (hence the what is it now? 10 ducks on the roster plus him at QB.)
No he isn't going to start, but he's the perfect Flutie type off the bench or for a game or 2 replacement. Win the SB with him for 16 games?...nah not gonna happen.

He might be okay as a backup. I mean, if guys like Blaine Gabbart can still be in this league, why not Tim Tebow? I don't see the complaints at all if he is willing to be the backup.

I think Tim Tebow could still be very good if he's got the right system under him. It's not a bad plan B seeing how the Eagles now have Sam Bradford who gets hurt if a strong breeze hits him.

I seriously just saw on SportsCenter of their main desk having a football in the middle with both the Eagles and the Browns helmets on different sides.
It f***ing writes itself, folks.

I think my favorite part of the Tim Tebow signing might be the super-defensive people who claim to be irritated by the conversations surrounding Tebow.
"Oh great, now all ESPN is going to do is talk about Tim Tebow. It's so annoying how much people talk about Tim Tebow. Here, let me explain why I can't stand how much people talk about Tim Tebow."
Heads up folks, the reason ESPN milks the Tebow discussion for all it's worth is because he gets people talking. He has a sect of fans, but he also has an even more vocal group who can't stop talking about him despite claiming to be annoyed by how much coverage he gets.

^Yeah Tebow equals ratings as much as it pisses some people off. He may be a horrible NFL QB, but he's got a lot of fans because of a great college career at a big time program.

ESPN has a system, and the fans willingly play into it. They cover Tebow or LeBron 24/7, and the fans divide themselves and parrot the coverage. ESPN is such a garbage station anymore. But the fans hold a little bit more responsibility, to be honest. They constantly let the coverage of a player dictate their opinion. There's very little hate towards ESPN's coverage of a player, versus the overwhelming amount of backlash towards the player who doesn't control ESPN's programming at all. And it's always gonna be that. They're always going to pick guys who they want to just beat into the ground by having them talked about on every show. And then, ALL OF A SUDDEN, they're "polarizing" star players. What bullshit.

I'm in the kind of camp that doesn't HATE the coverage deal, but laughs and cracks jokes about it. Because, like I just said... The shit just writes itself.

Go back to the discussions about him during the Senior Bowl prior to the 2010 NFL Draft. Go even further back to that alleged pro-life Super Bowl commercial he did with his mother. Go even further back to when he was the Heisman-winning national championship quarterback for the Gators. That's the difference between Tim Tebow and Manti Te'o or A.J. McCarron. You could argue that ESPN tried to make all three their "polarizing" star players, by dedicating non-stop discussion to them, but only one of those three still gets around-the-clock coverage and that's Tebow, because his presence, not ESPN's analysis, ALWAYS gets people talking.

People say they hate it but still watch it and talk about it. edit : Also for those complaining about ESPN, just stop watching it. They aren't about reporting sports anymore. They are all about getting ratings with sports as a backdrop. There are better options out there now.

Tebow wasn't a polarizing player at UF until the coverage of him got out of control. The year he won the Heisman, he wasn't even a polarizing player. He was just a good football player who the media had mentioned came from a devoutly Christian family that did missionary work. And that was from a guy that was at a HUGE football program, in the biggest conference, and had won a NC and Heisman. And he wasn't Mr. Polarizing Lightning Rod then. Sure, fans in the SEC probably hated the guy. But that's natural, and that's about it. That's the thing about these guys, it's that they aren't polarizing. LeBron was the same way. His rookie year, he wasn't a polarizing guy. People just were interested in what he would show. Then he blew up, and got hated. And then The Decision, and now more people root against him than anyone in the league. Like, why do people hate Tebow? Because he's not an accurate passer? No, they hate him because ESPN shoves him down their throat. But why not hate ESPN for that? When in the world did ESPN cover AJ McCarron like that? Is that a joke?

If you don't like something, just completely ignore it. But you didn't like my complaint of ESPN, which elicited a response. Your complaining about my complaint validates my right to complain. Sorry for the off-topic. On topic, I don't watch ESPN. I don't have cable. I watch LeBatard or Olbermann maybe a handful of times a year because they avoid beating the drum and actually point out how cartoonish the coverage provided by their station is. I disagree that there are other options out there now. NBCSports and Fox Sports put very little into their sports coverage and reporting, and are more vehicles for sports programming than they are reporting. Then again, maybe there isn't a market for actual sports reporting anymore.

When in the world did ESPN cover AJ McCarron like that? Is that a joke? ESPN's coverage of McCarron was absolutely nothing compared to Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson talking about him. Hell, Vince gushing over Shawn was nothing compared to Verne and Gary's love of McCarron.

Hell, Vince gushing over Shawn was nothing compared to Verne and Gary's love of McCarron. Haha, or Musberger's coverage of his girlfriend. Verne seems to have a soft spot for Bama, even by his SEC romanticizing standards. I remember him just going on and on about DeMeco Ryans in 05. I loved Ryans, so I didn't mind it much. But he does get on lovefests like no other. Or I would say that, except for CBS also employs Billy Packer.
