Gone for Cyber Sleuth 2 in the sale. The first one was excellent. A hidden gem for the PS4. This is good ... but feels more like an extended DLC than a sequel. Like, reusing maps. But, alot of digimon added and some new features. Yeah, it's still a good game. I've never at all been into Digimon but I've kind of wondered about the first one. Admittedly mostly because of how blatantly similar its soundtrack is to Danganronpa, but also I've heard good things and that it's darker than the series's usual fare.

I'd say even non Digimon fans should enjoy it. It doesn't feel at all like tge anime. It's a good, RPG with an old school turn based battle system (which I love, cos most games avoid that now) and excellent monster raising. Take the Digimon name out and it still holds up as a great game.

Finished playing “The Shapeshifting Detective.”
Silly FMV cheese. I ended up choosing the wrong killer at the end... I was sure it was one guy, but mind-flooded myself into choosing another, and lost.
About to go Round 2 with it tonight.

Started up Resident Evil 7 today. Fun game so far. Really great atmosphere. The whole object of the game is to explore, find, and figure out. And yet, the atmosphere makes you want to not do any of that because you never know what’s going to be lurking around the corner, hah.
Didn’t get super far, but I’m enjoying it.

Which order should I play Detroit / Heavy Rain? In terms of optimal gaming experience and enjoyment?
Also, when Hitman was the game of the month back in February, was it supposed to contain all of the DLC or just season 1? I see there's one or two missions I can't access and did I miss a window or were those never part of the PSN option?

Probably play Heavy Rain first, it's the less polished of the two (especially the PS4 port, which is pretty busted) and Detroit has some callbacks to it. And Hitman was just season 1.

Ever play Alien Isolation? It has a similar exploration vibe, but more of a stealth focus.

I've made a start on Detroit. It's very pretty. Which order should I play Detroit / Heavy Rain? In terms of optimal gaming experience and enjoyment? If you're talking about the Elusive Targets, those are a time limited, only get one attempt kind of deal.

Ok... so, I wasn't expecting a Digimon to contain a storyline where a bullied kid takes control of his classes minds, makes them stab their teacher to death and one-by-one jump from the top of the school building to their deaths thus trapping their minds in cyberspace.
But, yeah, that happened and was quite disturbing... even if at the end, it was an illusion, but still.

Started playing a little Star Wars Bounty Hunter as it was one of the downloadable Star Wars games that came with my PS4 in 2015 but I never got around to it, but figured with the recent Limited Run Games release, I'd give it a shot.
Is this how games really used to handle on the PS2? Maybe because I'm so used to newer gen camera controls, but I felt nauseated quite a bit. Anyone played the PS4 version?

Man, I cannot get into 'Heavy Rain.' Maybe I'm just not in the mood, but is the whole game a huge bummer like this? Is there a way to make it not a bummer or is it just a bummer machine?

It's like a bummer that turns into a B movie thriller gradually. Some of the endings can be major bummers but it can also end pretty decently for everyone which brightens that downer first act.

So a retro sale is going on the PSN store right now. Picked up Darksiders 1 and 2 for about $11. Buy them separately though. The regular bundle has not dropped in price. Batman return to Arkham (Asylum and City) and the remakes of Crash and Spyro are on sale as well.

Is the Detroit game better?

I got Yakuza Kiwami 2 in the latest EU PSN sale so I’m pretty damn ready to start a Yakuza marathon of sorts since I have all of them except 3-5 (except I think a couple were on PS3 PlayStation Plus so I COULD play them if I get my PS3 back? Not 100%).
Started 0 at one point but forgot to save like a dummy but I wasn’t that far in anyway for it to matter.
