Yep, The Last of Us is phenomenal. How far in? Not super far. Got to Bill who is about to help out. I’m loving it so far, though. I’m glad I played it after Resident Evil because I’m in the mindset of conserving ammo and supplies. But just great, great stuff so far. Naughty Dog knows what they are doing with games, man.

I beat Dishonored and I wasn’t impressed, it looked better when I watched the highlights of kills on YouTube. Uncharted 4 is ok but not what I expected. Is the yakuza series worth it? If they are where should I start?

I’m just scared about the Yakuza 1 remake, it doesn’t sound like there’s much content. I just want a good open world experience. As good as the engine and the gameplay is in Horizon Zero Dawn, there’s not much to do in that world.

I'm playing the Yakuza 1 remake now and I'm really enjoying it, but quick heads up that the open world stuff doesn't really start until Chapter 4, but it's fun along the way and the ride is worth it. My only gripe with it is that the cut scenes are a little long for my tastes. Not like Metal Gear Solid long, but a few times so far I've gotten a touch antsy waiting to move.

Yep, The Last of Us is phenomenal. I should really get around to it at some point. Owned it for ages, have no idea if I have it downloaded on my PS4 at the moment or not and never really worked up any interest in actually playing it.

Actually made some headway into my backlog for once. Finished DQ XI, then did God of War. Got the plat on both.
Moved onto Persona 5. First story starts hinting at some... inappropriate teacher things. Had to stop playing that one with the kids around in a hurry. Now I need something a tad more kid friendly to occupy me when they're watching me play something.

So far, it’s like Uncharted and Resident Evil had a baby. But like a really awesome baby.

Also continuing to work my way through my backlog (Currently at my rate of play I should be finished next Summer providing I don’t buy any more games) and I’m now onto Liberty City Stories
This one is a bit rough gotta say. PSP port onto a PS2 which was then released onto PS3
The graphics......oh man, wow the graphics just show how much things can change in 14 years
But even the missions are really basic and the car driving is like Bambi on ice ha. I am still having a bit of fun with it but I also have the original trilogy still to play (Those are on my PS4 however) but I’m hopeful they have aged a bit better but I’m unsure if they will have

Horizon Zero Dawn is better than God of War, don’t @ me.

Hot damn, Persona 5's soundtrack is amazing. I'm already prepared to be disappointed when Smash Bros. inevitably has to leave some of them out. Game's soundtrack rules.

So yeah that post a couple of days ago where I said I was having fun with Liberty City Stories? Yeah not really anymore. My OCD means I will complete the game (On last few missions) but damn all those little annoying complaints you had the first time you played it? After playing 4 and 5 they are magnified so much it’s unbelievable
Having to go all the way back to a mission waypoint if you fail a mission? I genuinely found it easier just to kill myself and get the taxi back to the waypoint
The drawrate is atrocious which is really annoying when you need to get away quickly and if you’re car is close to exploding which after a couple of hits it will be is really disadvantageous
And this really annoyed me back then but more so now, several enemies can shoot you (and kill you in literally 3 seconds even if you have a vest which is also annoying) but god forbid you shoot back or else the cops will be on your back
Defo learned a lesson about picking up old PS2 era games for nostalgic purposes. Oh well, get this done as well as Watch Dogs and Mass Effect and then I can get cracking into my PS4 backlog
