So last year, Evolution, a legendary stable in their own right, was part of a larger stable called The Authority. I was just thinking, has this happened before? I know in TNA Fortune was part of Immortal for a few minutes, and the Brood was part of the Ministry, but is that it? Have other groups been part of larger groups, or has a single person been a member of two different groups at the same time?

Fine take my original post in the op... pfft like I should read the entire thing...
Maybe you could say The Road Warriors in the Legion of Doom (The stable)
But that's more of a Tag Team with a Manager in the Stable....

Jimmy Jacobs in the indies - The Decade in ROH and The Forgotten in AIW are two of the current ones he's in right now, also his involvement in The Flood in Chikara.

In WCW, The Natural Born Thrillers and The Filthy Animals were part of The New Blood. In TNA, Triple X as a part of S.E.X.

DX + Ministry = Corporation?
I remember seeing DX guys do run ins with Ministry guys and JR would exclaim it was the Corporate Ministry.

The Brood were apart of Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness.

The Shield were pretty much the Authority's heavies until they turned face.

The Shield was arguably part of the Authority in late 2013.
Hall, Nash, and Syxx had their own group in the nWo with the original Wolfpack.
Technically the Dungeon of Doom and the Four Horsemen were separate groups under the banner of the Alliance to End Hulkamania.
The British Invasion existed within the broader World Elite faction in TNA.
Triple X existent within the Sports Entertainment Extreme stable (an I'm just realizing how much overkill that is in "adult" names.
The Dudleys worked together within Raven's Nest for a while in ECW.

My first thought was the Brood in the Ministry, which has already been mentioned.
It was not clearly defined on TV, but Nash, Hall, Syxx, and Konnan would informally mention the Wolfpac long before it became an official separate stable. I saw this as a select group of NWO members within the larger group.

Los Boricuas were sort of affiliates of DX in early 1998, weren't they?

Los Boricuas were sort of affiliates of DX in early 1998, weren't they? DX briefly tapped them to help them, but they were never in DX. I believe Hunter's version of DX led them on and then attacked them.

DX + Ministry = Corporation? I remember seeing DX guys do run ins with Ministry guys and JR would exclaim it was the Corporate Ministry. HHH and Chyna left D-Generation X to join the Corporation at Wrestlemania 15, which then joined up with the Ministry to become the Corporate Ministry. DX was not involved with the Corporate Ministry, aside from having some former members in it.

DX were in the factgeme or whatever The Authority were officially called back in 2000. That wasn't really a faction it was just DX they called what they were doing the McMahon-Helmsley Era though. Edge and Christian were on good terms with them when they coined the term... but they were still just referred to as DX.

They did have a "McMahon-Helmsley Faction" ring graphic whenever the group came out for an in ring promo. I only remember "McMahon-Helmsley Era" at the time during the first few weeks after Steph'sheel turn.

There was that one time Rick Rude was a member of DX on Raw, while simultaneously appearing on Nitro as a member of the nWo.
