Was curious aboot this. I know they have a big weekend of taping like eight One Night Only Pay-per-views(for shows that are only one night, there sure are a lot of them ) But is TNA planning on doing any regular pay-per-views? I know they decided to have Lockdown on TV this year, and I have not seen any ads for any other shows. I'm not sure if they have plans in the distant future or not, but it doesn't really look like it so far. Is there an official word on this yet?

Dixie said they would do one or two.

So maybe Slammiversary and Bound For Glory?

At this point it doesn't seem like it's worth doing them. I doubt they're making nearly enough money of them to justify it. Maybe Bound for Glory, but that's it.

They'll have a handful of them. I mean, they're only taping 8 ONO PPVs at the Impact Zone this month (holy shit I just realised how nuts that is. I'd bet by the last PPV, more than half of the roster would have changed)

Yeah, TNA is basically a TV product. I'm sure Slammiversary and Bound For Glory will mean nothing as TNA uses PPV to build towards TV. The complete opposite of what every quality wrestling company has done for the past 20-30 years.

PPV has been obsolete for almost a decade.

PPV has been obsolete for almost a decade. Doesn't help that TNA didn't try to make money off it before declaring it dead.

PPV has been obsolete for almost a decade. Someone had better let Dana White know.

PPV has been obsolete for almost a decade. Someone had better let Dana White know. Even that's kind of dying off. There is still money in it (though not for TNA), but it's like cable itself, becoming an outdated relic.

Based on the episode of Impact I watched this week, they could really use the money.

I question what matches TNA could potentially bring to the table for a PPV that are also fresh and interesting.
Lashley/Hardy? Seen it. Lashley/Roode? Seen it. Lashley/Angle? Seems like that's going to happen sooner than later. Lashley/EY? Seen it. I guess your only potential new matches on PPV would be Angle/MVP or Lashley/MVP and I'm not even sure that those matches haven't been done somewhere. Maybe Angle/Hardy? Has that been done?
TNA has had the same main event roster for so many years that it's a struggle to do anything fresh. The insistence on giving everything away for free on TV and not worrying about the PPV's is going to make their upcoming PPV's (The legitimate ones) a hard sell. The only matches I would be interested in that TNA could currently pull off would be Angle/Aries or Angle/Hardy

Wherever it's held it'll be in a venue where they keep the lights off

Since I don't have to drop 50 bucks a month on WWE PPV's anymore I would actually consider buying 1 or 2 TNA PPV's a year if the product was any good, which it isn't.

Wonder if they'll rape right on past the PPV and make it completely inconsequential again.
That was a typo I noticed but opted not to fix.

The thought of Vegas getting a TNA PPV would have excited me even two years ago. In 2015, I don't even know if I can be bothered to ask for the day off.
