Your right Andy Duke I don't hate you. But I don't hate the emo kids either. I just ignore them. They are pretty annoying.

I am not mean like some people who are like "why don't you just cut yourself and die" or "just kill yourself already". Now if you don't mind I am going to touch myself.

Yeah, the emo kid hate is really stupid. I mean, no other fashion gets the hate, so why does emo? I know plenty of emo kids, and they are all cool with me, and I with them. Liar, people have hated on "goth" for years, and I personally depise people who dress like wiggers, and cant stand the "Abercrombie/American Eagle" look. Oh, and, just curious....State of Emergency, you say the general description of "emo" as people use it is wrong? Whats a real emo kid then? The real "emo" began in the mid eighties when bands started singing songs that didn't fit in with punk or hardcore music, so it branched off. The term "emo" was originally used, then it became emocore I believe. Anyway, the most notable emo band and the one everyone name-checks is Sunny Day Real Estate who are actually pretty good. Then there was Rites of Spring, and Saves the Day and Embrace. The original "emo" kids were nothing like these kids today, guys wearing girls clothing, that haircut, the eyeliner, nail varnish. The "emo" you see today is mainstream bullshit and has completely changed. The emo stereotype is actually on many many occasions very wrong.

I don't hate emo kids, I somewhat dress preppy, but I consider myself a metal kid, that being said, I don't like the little 15 year old kids that think Slipknot or Mudvayne or Godsmack is the end all-be all of metal, but I was that way once myself, I really hate the generic-Jersey wearing wannabe thugs and the "mZ. bOsSy" girls at my school, there is many of them

Yeah, see, your description there....those are the ones I hate. And I don't think wishing death upon them is wrong, half of them act so depressed anyway you'd think you'd be doing them a favor. Especially if you post about it on their myspace for them.

But that's the thing, it really annoys me when they try so hard to be the stereotype. They don't need to be.
I went to college with "emo" kids and they were honestly some of the nicest people I've ever met. They had no cuts on their arms, they listened to lots of genres of music, they weren't depressed and even a few said they hate MySpace and people always have these pre-conceptions of them because they dress the same as that particular sun-genres fashion.

Well, it's not like "emo" kids are the only ones who do that stuff....they just bring it on themselves by glamorizing it and making it part of their culture.
For instance, one of my friends during high school was a really cool guy, was a black kid who was into heavy metal, ICP, wrestling and video games (which is unusual cause 90% of the black guys I've known try and act as generically 'thugged out' as possible), just like me. Then one day he came into school with his arms all cut up. I asked him about it, he said the cat did it. I believed it cause it didn't look TOO terrible...
Then, one day, he had "PANTERA" cut into his arm.
That's a pretty smart ****ing cat.

I've seen some bad images in my life, and then I go on msn, and they all have really depressing thoughts, as if they don't want to live, all that stuff. I've lived a good life, and I'm happy, but I saw some pretty awful stuff in my time. And then these people come on, and are all depressed. For what reason? They seem ok, they seem alright.
I don't want to toot my own horn, but sometimes I think that maybe I've had a tough life and these kids haven't. I mean, I understand being depressed and all, but that's not really what "Real" depressed kids sometime sound like. I know some of these "emos" and they sound like they've had a good life.
I don't know, maybe I'm just stupid.

But then again you don't know that. I think that, but there are genuinely unhappy people in any kind of subgenre or any kind of way of life. It depends on the person not what they're in to.

Because they oh-so-desperately want to look like the sad little men/women with dubious sexuality on all the t-shirts and album covers from Hot Topic. You know who we should really hate on? Parents who let their sons wear black nail polish and have a ****ing hair drape covering their eyes. No son of mine......

Eh, in the grand scheme of things, I'd prefer we all be called "Humans".
Cept for Andy. He'd be known as Superfly.

There are people out there with serious mental issues/illnesses, and you're turning depression into a ****ing fashion statement? Get ****ed.
