You all don't see what's special about Grado based on how they presented him on Impact Wrestling?
I wonder how many of you felt the same way when Impact Wrestling had OKADA.

I believe you mean Okato Samoa Joe's servant -_- Yeah, most people thought Okada was pretty terrible in TNA from what I remember... not sure if people were saying TNA was screwing him over or not... but yeah... he was not liked

Back to Grado, I don't get him. Before anyone explain to me he's a top act in the U.K. and full of charisma; from what I seen from him the past 2 years since I heard folks talk about him on message boards, I'm not a fan. It's like he's an in joke and no one clued me in on the punchline. If you're someone who never seen him before, his run in TNA makes him look like straight shit.

Is Grado's gimmick that he is a shitty wrestler? Because he definitely has that going for him. You may jest, but yeah, pretty much. He got popular because he was too shit to get booked for Insane Championship Wrestling and had to petition them through social media. His videos, for whatever reason took off and to cut a long story short, here we are today. His Vice documentary also focusses on him being pretty awful as well as his inability to get into any kind of semi-decent shape. It takes all sorts I suppose.

Well, Okada was pretty shit when he was in TNA. Dude had nowhere near the charisma he does now, and was only alright in the ring, as well as being in nowhere near the same shape. NJPW supposedly knew he'd be treated like shit, so they sent him there to be humbled, as kind of a "See, this is what you'd get if you left?" And then he seemingly visited Supreme Kai, had his potential unlocked, dyed his hair and became what we know today.

I'm pretty sure the purpose of humbling him was because they wanted to push him but didn't want it going to his head so it was a kind of way of going "we made you" once he returned and got over.

That's what I meant, like "You'll be treated like shit there, but here? You're a star!" thing.
