Just like with my thread about Jeff Hardy being worth the money TNA is paying him, this one about Aries is going in a little different direction. Aries name has been thrown around the rumor mill as far as him staying or going over the last year or so. From Aries perspective does he stay or go? TNA wants to keep him I believe but it seems the ball is in Aries court. I think TNA is doing everything to appease him at the moment considering the way he's hovering around the main event picture.

Honestly he really doesn't many options as he is a known bridge burner. I have a feeling if he leaves he will mainly go to EVOLVE

I've got a feeling that TNA is going to get rid of most anyone making decent money other than Kurt. Can't wait for Kurt Angle vs. Gunner vs. Samuel Shaw for the key to the TNA catering room, the winner eats tonight!

I won't be surprised if he is gone as well soon. By the end of the year at the most.

USPS destroys anything addressed to "f***ing Gunner", not because of the swear but they think it is mail fraud as no one would send fan mail to him.

I see him leaving before this time next year. There were rumors of him doing so last year around September-October and I see the same happening again this year with him actually leaving this time.
I see him working some of the bigger indies in America and maybe an occasional Japan tour. Don't know if AJPW is still gaijin friendly but he'd probably do well there.

He tried to over throw management after he lost favor with Cornette but Delirious wouldn't side with him. He lost, left the company and hasn't stopped bad mouthing them since. He also played a maor role in Kenny King jumping to TNA while tag champ, trying to get Titus to do the same. He also convinced Mitch Franklin to quit ROH, drop the Grizzly Redwood gimmick and shave which basically killed his career.

It depends on a number of things. I think he should wait it out for now. I'd sign on for another year, not a long term contract. Wait to see if things change up in New Japan and they need a gaijin heel for the Jr. Heavyweight division. Right now, Kenny Omega kinda fills that spot. He could form a tag team, and maybe team up with Rocky Romero as Alex Kozlov is done with wrestling for now.
Then there is Lucha Underground and he'd have to see if that gets better. They are getting viewers but it's slow and steady. Wrestling and the indies are really healthy right now, but I think Aries should wait another year to see what the industry looks like. TNA is dead in the water pretty much, like, even the commentators have given up on the product, and there is no true direction. But it's best to wait it out, especially if WWE isn't calling.
Though, as I say that, maybe Triple H wants more top indy guys for NXT, especially if he wants to build that brand and have it touring. So if the money is right, maybe he could end up in NXT as there's new talent relations people since Tough Enough.

Might have been a "you cannot fire me, I quit" thing but I seem to recall him and Aries talking about him choosing to leave ROH and how he wanted to get out from under the Redwood persona.

It's a shame he burned the bridge with roh, otherwise he would have gotten a heroes welcome like AJ.
Most likely I see him doing some indies, maybe mexico and japan. I can't see him going into Lucha Underground since everyone there is very gimmicky. Unless he changed himself(return of Austin Starr?).

Because Gunner willing to work for cheap which TNA loves. Aries might leave since the indy market is much stronger now. He can get steady gigs without going the ROH, Lucha Underground, and New Japan route. Just a matter of if he's willing to go on the grind once more. But him working Evolve is basically testing the water for an eventual move.

Does no-one think he could sign for Vince? Dude is a walking wellness failure and been shot down for everything WWE has multiple times.

Does no-one think he could sign for Vince? He won't. He tried out for Tough Enough and was turned down. They've made it clear, they aren't interested in A Double. In addition to that, no way he passes a wellness test as Ric said. Even if he did get signed, I'd give it a month before he's cut due to bad behavior.
