IMPACT remains in Glasgow this week at the SSE Hydro, as TNA's UK Tour continues. Whilst some of the focus is on finding the next challenger for Lashley's TNA World Heavyweight Championship, the rest is on a wee chubby chancer from the Tap End of Stevenston.
During TNA's recent season of British Boot Camp, Al Snow continually gave Grado a hard time, and this continued last week on IMPACT when Snow belittled Grado in the middle of the ring. Now it's finally time for Grado and Snow to meet. Grado will have many passionate Scots behind him on his official IMPACT Wrestling debut, but is he too pre-occupied by the #SayYesMadonna campaign, as he tries to get Madonna and her team to allow Destination America to play "Like A Prayer" on air?
This week sees the big Gauntlet Battle Royal, with the winner going on to meet Lashley for the World Title in Manchester. It was revealed last weekend on IMPACT Unlocked that the final five entrants out of the 20 are the current IMPACT Top 5 - Ethan Carter III enters at #16, Samoa Joe (now departed from TNA in real time) at #17, Low Ki at #18, MVP at #19, and current top-ranked wrestler Kurt Angle enters at the all-important #20 spot. Will their late entries come into play, or will someone else manage to last the course and win?
In addition to his entry into the Gauntlet, Ethan Carter III will also address Mr. Anderson getting involved in his issue with Rockstar Spud. How does EC3 plan on handling this development?
There's been problems between former partners Bram and Magnus in recent weeks, and things are getting out of hand. Tonight, former TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James, who's engaged to Magnus and is the mother of his child, returns to IMPACT to make a plea to Bram. Will it be heeded, or will it fall on deaf ears?
In other action this week, Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell is scheduled to face Angelina Love, and in Hardcore action, Eric Young battles the Innovator of Violence Tommy Dreamer. All this and more from 9/8c tonight on Destination America!
