I like Tommy Dreamer as a promoter; as far as I can tell he's been knocking it out of the park with the House of Hardcore shows, but he's got that old school can't stop wrestling bug and he needs to get that vaccinated. Besides, if he had quit for good after WWECW, we never would have had to see him wear this:

Good. Can someone tell me a time when Tommy Dreamer did anything cool? Numerous times from 1993-2001; some cool moments in 2003, a nice pop at the 2008 Rumble, and his last run on the revived ECW (2009?) was bags of fun too. His last title win was great. Let's not just pretend Dreamer has never been anything of value just because he's washed up. To be fair I struggle to think of individual Dreamer moments that were indeed cool. Maybe Sandman caning him? Dreamer in his prime was solid but he heavily relied on the genius of others to get over and didn't really do it himself or have a memorable moment. For example, I was thinking of listing the Raven feud as something that was cool but Raven is the guy that made that cool and Dreamer was just along for the ride and didn't really have a moment in my opinion. Epitome of "solid". A strong worker who was over and could be in the main events if you needed him to but he wasn't going to come out and cut a memorable promo or give you a memorable moment.

Someone needs to cut a promo on Dreamer and say that the only reason that he never left ECW is because the WWE and WCW didn't want him, really give him the business.

Considering that WCW tried to sign anyone with a pulse I'm sure that they did, but it would still be something cold blooded for Dreamer to cry about.

The only thing Dreamer-related I care about is the piledriver he gave to RVD in which he shot halfway up to the ceiling. And even then, it was more due to RVD than Dreamer.

From a Tommy Dreamer DM after compaking that he should stop doing ECW reuinion shows: 'nope I haven't done one since Hardcore Justice 2010 I stick to my word'
Bullshit.
Look at the current HOH show. It's from the ECW arena in Philly, Dreamer's picture on the website in an old 1998-2000 photo of himself in a photoshopped HOH shirt, he's in a Philly street fight - it's completely ECW. Why he feels the need to still compete on these shows and compete in the same tired matches where he'll bleed, get hit with shit, do a tree of woe and stop when he bangs his hand on his chest the first time so he can instead say the initials of the company he's in at the time. I'm sick of him.
If he wants to promote shows and be an agent for TNA, fine. Wrestling, main eventing and taking up time from younger people needs to stop.

At one point just a few years ago, I admired Dreamer -- a guy who spent his whole career making others look good.
But enough is enough. If he wants to book his House of Hardcore promotion and even take a bump every once in a while to try to get heat on someone in a GM sort of role, I can see that. But otherwise, I wish he'd please just walk off into the sunset while he might just still have a shred of dignity.

I mean TECHNICALLY he hasn't done an ECW reunion show specifically but the story line last year with him, D-Von, Bubba and Al Snow was an ECW reunion. He works indies and does ECW style matches whilst encouraging fans to chant ECW and his HOH shows are riddled with old ECW guys like Danny Doring. It's like when you go to those celebrity conventions and you have the chance to meet the guy who was Batman 50 years ago and he's still trying to be Batman but everyone wants to know why the old man is acting crazy. It's pretty sad really.

I would laugh so hard he'd cry.
