Anyone remember this motley bunch? They actually have kind of a special place as TNA's first real faction-and I actually think they had kind of the ideal faction set up; the boss/mouthpiece in James Mitchell, the eye candy/arm piece in Belladonna, the singles star/enforcer in Malice, and the tag team/comedy relief in Sinn and Slash, and the occasional more established name in Vampiro or Gangrel. Its probably easier for me to be nostalgic, since I am a fan of dark/monster type characters. Though, had I known back then that this was apparently the start of a trend where TNA would ALWAYS have a heel faction...

I like Jim Mitchell, so I was largely on board.

I was pretty sure it was Slash and some Australian guy? Ashley something maybe? and then Slash and Brian Lee? It wasn't until after Malice passed away and it was semi-rebooted that Sinn joined the team no? Anyways I loved the group in all of its incarnations, a pretty solid stable with a fun gimmick and great theme. I'd have loved it if instead of doing different heel stables every time Mitchell brought in a newer crazier version of the New Church every time, like some Power Ranger mega villains.

The New Church V AMW was what hooked me on TNA, it was on some ridiculously unknown channel that me and my mate stumbled across and it was incredible
