Whether this says anything about TNA or not, MVP has been consistently looking like a star each week he is on TV. He keeps his promos in focus and stayed on point while being a good enough heel that he doesn't back down and look like a chump each week. I still think they should of kept him and Bobby together, unless the plan is to eventually make MVP champ but so far he has done a good job. IMO he's been worth the money they have given him.

He's money on promos, but in between the ropes? He looks incredibly out of place compared to everyone else.
He's slow and sloppy. It's not good to watch.

I think that knee injury he had last year def slowed him down a peg, and he won't regain whatever little extra speed he lost from that.

He's been coasting on "Remember my feud with Benoit? I WAS GOOD RIGHT?" for a long time. I'd say he's above average for a WWE midcarder from that time period but... he's a WWE midcarder from that time period, and there is no reason he should be a focal point of any company in 2015.
He's good on the mic and not bad in the ring, but people aren't going to buy into average. His role as a mouthpiece was perfect but at this point that is all he's going to be worthwhile as.

Seems like a guy who'd be just right being booked in a long term tag team; would be the mouthpiece for it. Pair him consistently with Ki or King and it would probably work pretty well.

I agree with HMark. MVP and Kenny King should be a tag team and be chasing the tag titles. MVP is a strong promo guy but his in ring work is coming off very sloppy and lazy. He's not someone who should have a main event spot on television anymore.

He's nothing special in the ring, but had he not messed up his knee he could have won the title and had tons of momentum, using his charisma to fool everyone. While it worked out in Lashley as champion, I always felt back the MVP's momentum was stopped by the ill-timed injury right after his master plan starting to unfold, and it bummed me out. It would have been a strong run for him I believe.
