I almost never watched WCW but Rey was one of my favorites there. By the time he was big in WWE he was not the same still he has some great fueds and his work putting ADR over was tremendous. Its a shame how horribly short his main title runs were especially losing to Cena in one night when he could have been a part of the biggest storyline that year.

Man I remember when I first saw him in ECW. Then him just being amazing in WCW. It also helps he's 1/4 of my favorite Tag Match ever.
And his IC run had two damn good matches with Jericho & his match with Johnny Morrison.
One of the best Jr. Heavys ever. Bar none.

As stale as he's been, his original run as part of the Smackdown 6 and his work during 2010/2011 was amazing. Not to mention his work in WCW.
Shame he didn't get a proper sendoff.

One of the greatest of all time.
His contributions to wrestling far out weigh his few bad years in the WWE.
It's a shame he didn't get a better send off.

Well, I was saying 'booyaka'.
It ended on a duff note all round, but he had a hell of a run in WWE. I'm confident he'll end up in the HoF one day, unless he's a complete blithering idiot and burns that bridge in massive style in interviews, and AAA or Luncha Underground will happily take him even if his knees are held together by lollipop sticks and selotape.

Ranjin Singh's head being that big has got to be some sort of in-joke. He still works in the office, right? Yeah, his real name is Dave Kapoor and I think he's the show runner of both Raw and Smackdown.

Good, It would have been a disaster if he had to have surgery on his left knee for the 6th time.

Remember when Roman Reigns asked him if he only returned to "job out?" Guess he did.

The fact Justin Gabriel's thread got more response than this one is really says a lot about how far Rey has fallen over the years. Dude's one of the last of a generation who seem perfectly content to die in the ring.

It's a shame that his last five or so years seem to overshadow the fact that he helped flat-out revolutionize American pro wrestling in the mid 90's.

I like Rey but the last few years of his WWE run were awful and he should of retired a couple of years ago
Though hopefully after a brief stint back in Mexico he retires before both his knees are totally f***ed beyond repair.

Rey's legs never fell off at the knees during a match, do technically I don't care about this news.
I'm kinda being factious, but kinda not too.
