One of my favorite wrestling related insults-I think he got it from his grandmother-maybe she called people "slappy" or something?
What was the lame phrase the WWF made up for the figure?

I can't seem to find any official figures with a shirt resembling it. The only butchered Double J catchprase on a figure is "don't tick me off."

I used to have a "Slap Nuts" shirt. It was XL and way too big, but I loved wearing it.

This is correct-Jeff’s grandmother, Christine Jarrett, worked in the Nashville office of the Welch/Gulas promotion, which included Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas and other areas. She started as a secretary and eventually worked her way into top management, which was quite unusual for a woman in those days, particularly in the often misogynistic world of pro wrestling.
Anyway, Christine learned along the way that she had to be able to stand her ground verbally with the wrestlers and other promoters. But, she refused to use “curse” words. So, when somebody annoyed her, (which was often, apparently) she told them, “Don’t be slapping your gums at me, Slappy!” Jeff grew up in the office and adapted this for his own catchphrase, “Slap Nuts!” or just “Slappy!” I always thought this was a great catchphrase.

He hasn't used the phrase for about 15 years. I don't know how successful the shirt will be.

This is probably a nitpick, but the original shirt said "Slap Nuts" with an S, not a Z.

This is probably a nitpick, but the original shirt said "Slap Nuts" with an S, not a Z. That's probably because technically the original design was sold by WCW and therefore is probably considered property of the WWE

That's probably because technically the original design was sold by WCW and therefore is probably considered property of the WWE I suppose, but then again, there seem to be quite a few shirts where you can get some pretty faithful recreations. For example, I bought a Rap is Crap t-shirt from BarberShopWindow that looked almost exactly like the original one the Rednecks worse minus the dates on the back. www.barbershopwindow.com/hennig-rap-is-crap.html

I was actually going to buy this being a huge Jarrett and "Slap Nuts" mark, but the Z has completely ruined it for me for some reason.
