Some people like AJ, and a few take their liking of her too far, some people dislike AJ and a few take their dislike of her too far. I'm not sure what it is about her that creates these Marmite reactions, but if there's anything I've learned, it's that it is what it is and no amount of arguing is going to stop the extremists taking it too far. Plus there aren't too many of those in this thread anyway, a lot of the criticism and praise is either well-reasoned or is playful and tongue-in-cheek so whatever.
Personally, I think she's talented and seems like a good sort in interviews. I don't think she's the best Diva ever, or even in the company currently, and some of her booking has really tested my support of her, but it's not as if she can help that. I'd like to read her book, cos she's had an interesting journey and I share a lot of her views on the world and on the wrestling business from what I've heard out of her and she doesn't seem like the type to make shit up to get attention. If I didn't, I probably wouldn't bother commenting in this thread and just accept it's not for me, but that's just me. Let's call the whole thing off.

Not something I'll be rushing out to buy, I'll be honest.

In terms of all-round ability, I'd say Paige. She was a little short on charisma and star quality when she first appeared on the main roster, and not just because they made very little attempt to establish her character, but she's really found her feet in terms of speaking and getting her gimmick and storyline over through her ring-work. Plus she's always been a better pure wrestler than AJ, and she's potentially several years from hitting her peak. She's who I'd be building the division around if I was booking it, which is why it's sad they never really had AJ decisively put her over without the dreaded 50/50 booking negating it soon afterwards.

Color me impressed if AJ actually reads the book someone else writes for her.
