Growing up my brother and I only knew him as Galvatron. When we were 10, we saw our first Star Trek movie, which was Part IV: The Voyage Home. Ever since then, we at least try to watch that movie once a year. And his Simpsons Appearances were legendary.
RIP Mr Spock

Can't say that I was much of a star trek fan. However a movie I am not ashamed to say I love is 3 men and a baby which Leonard Nimoy directed. Definitely due a rewatching.

I was never a huge Trekkie (many in my family are, though), but RIP to Galvatron and Xenahort from Kingdom Hearts.

This hurts, my buddy and me were doing Star Trek quotes at the bar literally 2 minutes before the news broke.
Hurts real bad. Gonna be watching a lot of Star Trek tonight.

Unsurprising, given how poor a shape he's been the last couple of years, but no less depressing.

Not a huge Star Trek fan, but I always enjoyed his other work like his Simpsons appearance. He was great in the J.J. Abrams reboot too.
R.I.P. Mr. Nimoy.

I'm not really surprised giving his age and health problems but damn does this not make me sad.
RIP to a true icon of pop culture.

RIP. May the force be with him. [What? It's appropriate...and might remind some other non-Trek watchers of another Nimoy role.] And had the lead villain role in two different TF Projects

Wish I could order a hot dog right now and say, "surprise me!".
A sad loss. He had a unique wit about him.

My first experience with Leonard Nimoy was Galvatron. As a kid, my parents got me The Transformers:The Movie for Christmas and I'll never forget just how awesome Galvatron flying right into Starscream's coronation and killing him without any resistance was. It's not a very well-liked movie and that's okay because, to me, it was f****** awesome. From there, I was first exposed to Star Trek through Wrath of Khan and his performance as Spock in that movie was legendary and was a big part in why that movie is one of my favorites.
Might be time to give both of those movies a watch again pretty soon. Until then:
R.I.P. Leonard Nimoy.

From Spock to Galvatron to the host of In Search of and Ancient Mysteries, this man has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. He will be missed.

The first time I heard the name Leonard Nimoy, was when I listened to an NPR production of the "War of the Worlds". R.I.P. Professor Pearson (his character in that play).
