I hadn't checked in on wrestling newz sites in a while so I gave some clicks to a site I won't name. Imagine my surprise to see a story about TNA Locker room morale being low. Man...TNA's locker room must be the sadest place in history. Morale just cannot get a break.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if it were a true story.
- 12 months ago they were on a major network being watched by about a million people and now they're being watched by about half that on a network nobody knows about.
- 12 months ago they had locker room leaders like Bully, Joe, Daniels etc. Now they have nobody to lead the locker room except maybe Angle.
- 12 months ago TNA were running at least three house shows a month plus TV taping's giving the wrestlers at least 3-4 dates a month where they know they'd be working. Now they work three dates every 2 months which I imagine leaves a big hole in their finances.
---
If my career was quickly sinking on the ship that is TNA I wouldn't be happy about it either. Especially when my place of work is viewed as the joke of wrestling and not worth a damn.

They tell the most popular guy in the locker room to hit the road, fire people nonstop, cut pay across the board and can only get about 1/4 of the people watching as they used to so TV isn't even an incentive and run maybe 1/16th shows, yeah cannot see why they're unhappy.

TNA morale has had more turns than the Big Show and Mr. Anderson combined.

They don't even run house shows, I'd be pretty pissed if I worked for TNA also.

The TNA locker room must be like a movie prison, with someone in the corner playing the mouth organ and Kenny King singing the blues.

Working in TNA is like working for Radio Shack. You're just slogging along until they tell you that corporate is closing operations. They lost most of the locker room vets and leaders within a year. House shows are nonexistent. So is ppv pay. If you want to stay, you take a major pay cut. Doing marathon tapings every couple of months for a show on a network that gets beat by reruns on TV Land. I doubt that many people will be singing the company's praises in these conditions.

TNA released Morale from it's contract a while ago along with Pride and Potential. All that's left is Disappointment, Apathy and Tommy Dreamer.

Yeah, I don't think it's far fetched for TNA's morale to be down.
I started watching TNA in 2006, and I loved watching A.J., Joe, and Daniels. And now they're all gone. It sucks, but TNA is really dying a slow death here.

Sephiroth, ok I've been stopping to look at you avatar for as long as you've had that girl dancing slutily in it. Please let me know where that is from and who she is. I can't stand not knowing anymore. Thank you very much in advance. Love your gimmick

Man...TNA's locker room must be the sadest place in history. Morale just cannot get a break. It was reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter on Wednesday night. So your slow news day thing is way off. Also why wouldn't be down? Working so few dates with seemingly no plans on doing live events. Samoa Joe and Bryan Edwards have just left.

Morale should be low when you are the #4 promotion

why don't they debut a wrestler named Mo Rale and have commentary talk about how great he is all the time?

Morale should be low when you are the #4 promotion I don't even think they are in the top 10. They are definitely in the top 10. In terms of size I see it like this: 1. WWE 2. NJPW 3. ROH 4. TNA 5. Lucha Underground If Global Force ever launches I could see them taking the number 3 or 4 spot but I haven't heard an update from them in months.

Just cause you have a tv deal doesn't mean you are a big promotion. If that's the case OVW and others that do should be considered a big promotion then.
Look at PWG and Chikara, no TV deals and they get by on DVD sales and word of mouth but they are doing well for themsleves and getting by. Whilst TNA is losing guys left and right (two more left yesterday and today), have zero events planned, draw dismal crowd after dismal crowd where there are more rats in attendance than people on a daily basis, have no budget and are forced to tape six to eight weeks of shows at a time.
