Miz's heel turn isnt a rise. He's a comedy jobber now who isn't even the star of his own stupid gimmick Jobber or not, this is the first time in four years that Miz actually has heat. He's doing some of the best work of his career too.

Other Mentions- Cesaro - He's arguably in the same place he was this time last year. Hell, some would actually consider it better as he's holding a tag team championship right now. But where he's at now doesn't tell the story of the heights he should have reached, and the depths he actually fell to before rebuilding from scratch with his fellow Master Of The Universe Tyson Kidd. Whether or not he'll ever get the momentum back that he had from winning the Andre last year is uncertain, but he's on the right track after a very lean spell late in 2014. Expect him to either defend the tag titles on the pre-show, or try his luck in the Andre again.
I don't know how you can describe Cesaro's status as anything other than fall. Leading up to Wrestlemania, everyone was pegging him as being the Breakout Star of 2014 and his Victory in the Battle Royale seemed to confirm that belief. But then they squandered everything and now he's struggling to get a reaction in division that the company treats like an afterthought. I never said it wasn't a fall. I probably should have made more mention of how hot Cesaro actually was at the time going in, but I think I might have been more focused on his actual position on the card at WM30 compared to WM31, which in isolation, is not that much of a drop. It doesn't account for how far he should have risen or how far he actually did fall before rebounding with this tag run.

I despise what they've done with Cesaro as much as the next guy, but I still have to give this to Rusev. Cesaro "fell" from midcard to midcard, Kidd rose from obscurity to midcard. Rusev rose from obscurity to semi-main. Cesaro has every ounce of skill he needs to be a main eventer, but he was never really given the chance to make it there. You can't really fall far when you're being held down close to the ground anyway. That's my whole point though. For the year, as a whole, Rusev IS the biggest rise in one year on paper- but as I clarified from before- Rusev shouldn't count simply because, even with the Rumble appearance, Rusev was for all intents and purposes a rookie for the WM30-31 build. Just like Bo Dallas in the 2013 Rumble, Rusev was an NXT appearance wrestler- and if you consider it a debut, then the other facts: Rusev didn't have any matches between the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania (signifying it as a NXT preview match more), was back in NXT following the Rumble (making it clear he was just the NXT appearance), and they started vignettes for Rusev between the Rumble and Wrestlemania (making it clear he was to be treated as if he hadn't debuted yet).Put those together, and Rusev doesn't "really" count. Rusev for the 2014-15 WWE Rookie of the Year? No one can really argue that point. Rusev for biggest rise in position between Mania 30 and Mania 31? Not so much. You can't go back to you previous "Rusev shouldn't count because he didn't really debut at the Rumble" position after you said "Even if Rusev debuted at the Rumble". Especially since that was the comment I was speaking of in my reply.

On the divas side of things, Nikki Bella has really stepped it up in the last few months.
Her initial heel turn and feud with Brie were lackluster ("died in the womb" anyone?) but since they've patched things up Nikki's character and in-ring work have become a lot better.

Bray Wyatt-went into last year's WM as one of the most over heel characters in the company, fresh off his feud with Daniel Bryan and engaged in an actually well hyped feud with Cena. In the interval, the Wyatt Family was broken up, he got stuck in go nowhere feuds with Jericho and Dean Ambrose, and now is looking set to job to a guy who hasn't so much as appeared in TV in over a year. Unless the young guy goes over on Cena (in the overall feud), feuding with him is career suicide. Why must he go over on all the young guys?

It's Cesaro.
'Taker will at least get a big reaction when he gets back.
