so over in WWE an Ivory shoot was brought up where she tells a story about wrestlers court.
Does anyone have any wrestlers court stories they know of that they can share?

Shane Helms said Mark Magnus/Muhammed Hassan was sent to wrestlers court because older guys didn't feel he deserved the push he was getting, going from being a no-one in OVW to working with Hulk Hogan. He bought everyone a drink while in a bar in japan try and smooth things over and they all poured onto the floor in an act that's both disrespectful to him and the bar staff.
It's hilarious if you think about it, the Undertaker was a tag team wrestler in WCW then went to the WWF and got placed in a gimmick he didn't create and overnight he went from a nobody to working with Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Ted Dibiase yet it's something Mark Magnus needed to be taught a lesson for.

I have a quasi-one. Many years ago, another big wrestling message board would hold AOL chats with a group of its posters, and occasionally we would manage to get wrestlers in there for a few minutes. One night, we had Dutch Mantell on board, but that was also the night a poster who owed me some tapes I'd paid for almost a year previously and never received was around. Dutch got wind of the situation between the trader and myself, and promptly held court, naming himself judge and demanding both sides' stories. At the end, he ruled in my favor and that the defendant was to hand over the owed material immediately.
I'll be damned if the other guy didn't have the tapes in my mailbox within the week.

I remember reading somewhere once that on a tour where Taker was part time and Cena was injured, the longest tenured wrestler (who is the judge by default) ended up being Kelly Kelly. The thought of that brings me great joy.

Probably the most known story is the one involving the Hardys and Michael Hayes, since it was in their book. That's the one about them taking Kane's first-class seat while he and D'Lo hauled ass to catch the flight. I loved how they portrayed Kane and D'Lo as victims.
Think an annoying story is the one about Melina going to court over her attitude. Most people said it was a simple case of shyness being confused with arrogance.
I think Billy Silverman went to court as well, but all accounts pointed to him being an ass in the first place.

Sad because I smell some racism Dude had a great look though and played he's role well

There's more to that. Helms kind of talks about it but so do Davairi and Nova. Basically Hassan was very green and naive and didn't know any better and rubbed some people the wrong way. Now more heat came from him falling for ribs that got him in trouble with other people. I dunno if there was racism as he wasn't even middle eastern (he was Italian) but it was a case of him being really green and not knowing better combined with jealousy. As for Wrestler's Court, most have said that to soothe things over you just buy the vets who run it alcohol. THere was a story when Miz and Morrison first started tagging the vets didn't like what they were doing and they were told to watch old APA matches by JBL. Morrison ended up getting more heat for ignoring the ruling while Miz started gaining respect. But according to Ricardo Triple H and his guys have kind of gotten rid of that kind of thing.

I don't know how long it took Magnus to work his way up the card because I wasn't watching at that time, but Undertaker had already been active for several years before he got his main event push. Then, in WCW he feuded with Lex Luger over the US Championship before he actually became the Undertaker. So, it wasn't like he hadn't "paid his dues". I tend to agree with others though that there must have been other factors in play that caused the wrestlers to dislike the guy.

I don't understand the whole Hassan thing. He wasn't booking and I never heard anything about him politicking to get the push. Unless he was being obnoxious about it why would they blame him?

That's the whole thing about 'Wrestler's court', the logic doesn't need to make sense because it's mainly jealous veterans like JBL punishing young guys for getting chances they didn't receive or just because they flat out don't like them. It reminds me of the origins of JBL's beef with Don Callis, working as the Jackyl he was booked in so many insulting segments with the oddities, which JBL seemed to blame him for like he was booking them. According to Callis on Jim Cornette's podcast, he stood up for himself and said that he knew they were lousy but they were still drawing better ratings that anything Bradshaw had done.

Teddy Long was apparently sent to Wrestlers Court for dealing Viagra in the locker room.
Daivari ribbed the heck out of Kip James in TNA once and it was decided that he didn't have enough pull to do that, leading to the most hilarious sounding version of Wrestlers Court I've ever heard of, complete with a witness turning heel and Photoshopped "evidence".

Foley and Al Snow having to pay Bob "I don't wanna go to no damn carnival" Holly a couple days' car rental and hotel for abandoning him.
It's funny because I believe every word.

I always picture that incident in my head in a movie montage style of shots of Foley and Snow laughing it up on the Tilt-a-Whirl and the Scrambler intercut with shots of Holly alone on the curbside looking more and agitated as time goes by and finally snapping and taking his frustrations out on a nearby trash can.

The real question is... Who was the Doug Llewelyn? Make it Heenan and I will ask you to close your mouth and take what's in my pockets to see this via my television screen.
