I can imagine him pretty much being Geordie Kofi Kingston...the guy they trot out to do cool stuff but doesn't become a big player. Maybe an IC or US title reign or two.

waiting till after mania i guess - the more I see of neville the more i think he is absolutely amazing - for some reason he reminds me of Bret Hart and I honestly can't put my finger on why - everything he does looks so snug I guess.

He'll debut on the Raw after WrestleMania and win the IC title from Barrett. JBL will comment "HAHA, LOOK AT THIS f***ING MIDGET, HE LOOKS LIKE A DAMN RAT, REMINDS ME OF THAT RAT-FACED f*** FROM THE OL' NXT, HEY BOOKER, REMEMBER WHEN I SQUASHED THAT LIL' TWERP LIKE A BUG ON A WINDSHIELD WITH FAROOQ, HAHA I LOVE IT!"
WWE will tour Corpus Christ, Baltimore, and Davenport where all three crowds chant "RAT-FACE! RAT-FACE! RAT-FACE!" at Neville. Kane will come out one week to destroy Neville after having a 30 min. 4-and-a-half star match* with Dolph Ziggler for the championship. Kane will then squash Neville during the curtain-jerker of SummerSlam for the belt, and then injure him to the point where he has to get stretchered out.
Neville will return after 6 months as "The Mighty One" Adrian Neville, in full Mighty Mouse costume and superhero mask. The re-debut happens in Nashville which reacts with complete silence. Neville will get buried during a promo segment with "The Big Sexy PowerDog of Brilliance" Roman Reigns. Roman will bury Neville by saying "The Mighty One? More like......uh, the MIGHTY RAT-FACE!" Neville never recovers and competes exclusively on Superstars for the next two years.
Someone will make a thread here called "Remember When Everyone LOVED Adrian Neville?" 95% of the replies will be "You mean the rat-face dude? I never saw NXT, f*** that midget, I never liked him in the first place."
*the match would've gotten five stars, but it was just missing that extra Tokyo Dome magic

They need the Cruiserweight and Hardcore titles for guys like him to first come up and compete for, then push him into a higher division.

At the moment we have three of the top babyfaces Daniel Bryan, Ziggler, and Ambrose competing for the IC title. Hopefully sometime soon all three of them will be challengers for the WWE title (with Rollins as champ) and we'll have more room for Neville to be the IC champ. Or US champ, depending on where they go with that.
Definitely makes sense to wait until after WrestleMania. He would be very overshadowed debuting in that ladder match for example.

As it's been mentioned...I'm pretty sure Neville is already done with NXT.
He pretty much started packing his bags after the Zayn rematch. But it was a good move for him to stick around just a bit longer to put over Balor & Owens on his way out.

I like Truth, especially since he has brought back the crazy lately (his best side/character of his career). But that spot should have gone to Neville, who would have a full time main roster spot after

This is a terrible time to debut someone, though WWE has done it in the past with Brodus Clay, Emma, and Fandango, though Fandango's actual first match was at Mania. Fandango did debut on TV several weeks before then, but always refused to wrestle.

After Mania.Hopefully they will have something for him to actually do unlike all the other NXT guys (sans Rollins) who they sabotaged.

They need the Cruiserweight and Hardcore titles for guys like him to first come up and compete for, then push him into a higher division. I'd be in favor of a flyers/workers division and title if it were actually treated as a big deal and was accompanied by good stories, especially since they don't appear to want guys of a certain size in the WHC scene right now, but I think putting the emphasis on it being a lower level weight class would only diminish them and reinforce to the audience Vince's negative belief that "they're not as big, so they're not as important or credible or able to be stars." The emphasis of something like that should be on the elite speed and athleticism of the competitors, fast action, and unique styles that you won't see anywhere else on the roster, kind of like TNA did with the X-Division at least in their early days.

Fandango did debut on TV several weeks before then, but always refused to wrestle. There nothing wrong with debuting someone during this time. He doesn't HAVE to come in with a big time feud at the top of the card. He could just as easily win matches every week and be given a spot in the Andre Battle Royal.

Me too, it's why I like him. He reminds me so much of Bret, his demeanor and his promos, as well as the snugness. He carries himself like a champion.

Even then, TV time around this point of the year is always cramped for having to fit in all of the various big stars (except I guess for this year seeing as none of the big stars are actually showing up). Just having a guy pop up in random pointless midcard matches with no time to introduce them or have them have some time to show what they can do just dooms them to going in the Xavier Woods pile.

Adrian Neville is a far superior talent to Xavier Woods. And I doubt that he would start at that low of a position to begin with.
