I was thinking about this, last year WM was the first one with the network, so even though the network reached like 700k suscriptors, they still had a big buyrate of 600k-700k buyers in the traditional ppv market if I'm no wrong. Most of this buys where from people who didn't trusted the network since it was on his second month when it was released
But now, one year later, the network is more established, so I'm kinda curious if this wrestlemania will had the same amount of people buying wrestlemania. Also with ratings declining I always wondered which numbers could make wrestlemania a flop from a financial point of view.
Anyone adventures to make a prediction?

Since there is no longer a commitment, I can't see how there is any way to justify purchasing it as a conventional PPV rather than through a Network subscription as long as you have a good enough internet connection.

I'm guessing between 400-450k.

What did last year do, 600k? I bet this year's does significantly lower, I bet the Network has got the Netflix treatment a lot over the last year. Meaning people sharing their email and password.

Personally, this might have the possibility of being below WrestleMania XIX, which was a great show but mired from the fact that the focal attraction was Mr. McMahon vs. Hulk Hogan.
WrestleMania 31 could be a good show with the undercard and one of the marquee attractions, but given how they've promoted this event so poorly and the general unlikability of the idea of Roman Reigns winning the WWE World Heavyeight Championship, I can see how the overall PPV buyrate can be bad.

It will be interesting to see how the ultimate money of it works out. You figure right now even a bad Wrestlemania card will rate around at least a million Network subs, but those people have to stick around for it to be worth losing the PPV buys.

Also at the time only the states had the Network. All of Canada may actually have the network before Wrestlemania this year

I'm guessing between 400-450k. Yeah, I think that's a pretty good guess and I'd argue WWE (all things considered as it hasn't been a great build) would take that if offered now.
