From the unofficial 3rd member of the Young Bucks, Dave Meltzer:
Sound logic there, WWE. After all, fans won't even mention the name CM Punk after he betrayed you guys for being a no-good quitter.

In short: they might boo him, or they might cheer him.
Amazing journalism.

Yeeeah, he's gonna get booed. Anger at Brock maybe leaving < Anger of the inevitability of a decade of Beledat Bbygurl.

I think considering the venue, I don't think you're gonna hear much regardless. Sound is going right out of the stadium. The real question is will there be a repeat of Wrestlemania XII where people leave during the main event?
I say no for two reasons. One, because they'll be hoping for a Seth Rollins cash-in. And two, because those tickets are f***ing expensive.

I think these smart fans they keep referring to are going to be high/drunk and not give a damn about Reigns' match. They'll boo. It's not 2004 fans do not care that much if someone leaves to do something else. Fans keep chanting Punk.

No chance. No f***ing chance.
Even if Lesnar is leaving, he's built up so much good will with the fans from this run they won't boo him like last time.

If they think anybody is going to buy into Roman Reigns as a show of solidarity with WWE, then they are on a level far beyond "out of touch". "You aren't here every day but I am" didn't work out for Cena, so why would Roman get pity cheers as the avatar of WWE, corporate entity not paying one of the biggest sports draws in the world what he feels he's worth?

Around the time of the Lesnar/Goldberg match, if you left WWE you were considered a sell-out traitor worthy of scorn. In 2015, however, leaving WWE on your own terms is considered rising against the machine and gives you instant street-cred.
How much they boo or cheer Reigns will depend largely on match quality, but he's pretty much guaranteed a healthy amount of boos. Especially if his booking remains at the same level of maddening stupidity it has been since Fast Lane.

Lesnar would get more cheers.

Why is Dave Meltzer still using the term "internet fans" in 2015? I thought the WWE were the only people dense enough to still use that.

Why would anyone boo Brock Lesnar for leaving? This isn't WrestleMania 20 where both guys were leaving and there was no real point to the match happening at all. If anything, Brock is more likely to get cheered by the "smart" fans after the things that have happened lately.

Well they are the minority I believe. If someone has a hobby or an interest in something they will look it up online and look to discuss it with fellow people of the same interest. It's funny how shows like Lost never said "God damn these internet fans with their silly theories and their moaning about us dedicating an episode to Jack's tattoos. What do they know?" yet the WWE still do.

Didn't a lot of posters here say that Roman would be unmercifully booed out of the building at Fast Lane if he beat Bryan?
