This is one of those things where it would be amazing if somebody did have the data for how long eacho promo segment was, etc.
I will say, there was a while where CM Punk seemed to be cutting enormous promos on every show, and it was great. I wonder how high up he got on that list based on that run.
It's been a while since I was watching WCW, were Hollywood Hogan's promos that long? Also, I guess backstage promos like in the old days and the in-ring talking to the crowd for 20 minutes thing are kind of two different styles.
Cena has gotta be up there. With The Authority, Triple H is back on top, but for years Cena was getting more time than H I think.

I'd say by sheer longevity it has to be Triple H, guy's been getting twenty minute promos on a pretty consistent basis since like 1997.

Triple H has been giving the same-uh damn-uh 20 minute-uh promos-uh since-uh 2000-uh. I'd be absolutely shocked if it were anyone else.

Another question: Who has the longest, single promo? Do we count "this is your life?" Because that one was pretty time consuming but unlike a lot of other mentioned wasn't a bore to survive. |

Not Hogan, most of his promos before his return in 2002, they were short since they were taped promos and many shows in the 80's did not have him on. The person with the most has to be someone who was around during the attitude era or when Raw started to be 2 hours long. He also has to be around for a long time and had long live promos, it has to be Triple H. If the Rock stayed around it would have been him and if Austin did not retire it could have been him too.

Another question: Who has the longest, single promo? I recall several show opening promos this past year from The Authority lasting around 30-35 minutes. Those have to be up there. |
