I knew "Hail To The King" would be on RB4, there's so many A7X songs available to download. I think I actually requested it.

Harmonix have done their rollout of stuff for RB4 for E3.
First and foremost, pre-orders are now available from pretty much all the big retailers in the US and, as a pre-order bonus, you get 30, as of now, unannounced songs and, if you pre-order on Amazon, you get an extra four (Don't Wanna Fight by Alabama Shakes, Failure by Breaking Benjamin, Trainwreck 1979 by Death From Above 1979 and Follow Me Down by The Pretty Reckless). Currently, you can only get the guitar and game bundle ($129.99) or the band-in-a-box bundle ($249.99).
Also, they've announced a new feature for guitar, guitar solo freestyles. Basically, instead of having the original solo, you get an empty track with a pattern that tells you what you should be playing (the amount of notes), but you can play whatever you want and it's made to sound good regardless.
Here's a look at the feature:

Did They ever announce if the instruments are compatible?
Because I'll get the band in a box if I have to but I don't need two sets of drum pads cluttering my house.

Nice, happy we're getting some more recent QoTSA. I like the old stuff too obviously, but it seems the Hero & Band games have been leaning on "Songs for the Deaf" for too long.

That's actually a great addition to the game. Stoked about more Live, The Cure, and Foo Fighters. Loving Brown Eyed Girl and Your Love. As far as Paramore goes, I was hoping "Ain't It Fun" would be the song they'd pick. Still, I'd say most of these songs are great. All I need to be over the moon would be "All For You" by Sister Hazel (as I've requested a few times on their server).
