It's a pity the Streak has been broken, cos Riley is totally the guy to do it.

Nah, if they want an accomplishment for Riley, they should have him break Chavo's record for consecutive losses to Hornswoggle.

He should go after a Brock next too! If Brock weren't champ I actually would've liked to see that.

Realistically, no, he shouldn't, and won't, but I wouldn't be opposed to him getting a slight hope spot or two, like he gets to wail on him some after a missed corner avalanche or something, but he'd still decisively lose. Alex has never been high on the totem pole, and I doubt he'd start now, but it need not be a total massacre. Just mostly one.

Three weeks ago:
HHH: Hey, Alex, can you take a powerbomb off the ring apron?
Alex: I can always learn. Why?
HHH: Just wondering.

It's a job that needs to be done, but I dunno if Riley is the right man for said job. Maybe Reigns?

That would just make all the hype and build that went into this match and Riley's full time in ring return in general meaningless. And it's a middle finger to the fans who waited for years for Riley to get some kind of shine If they wanted to Riley to get murdered, they shouldve just made the match with no hype or build. He hasn't been high on the totem pole, but this should be a reset button for him. Let him lose to Owens and then slide into a comfortable position on the roster.

He should get at least a showing, especially with the buildup, though I imagine it'll be decisive.

He should go after a Brock next too! If Brock weren't champ I actually would've liked to see that. I thought that you liked Riley!? That would be the biggest asskicking since Mike Tyson was in his prime. Look at what Brock did to Cena and Taker then look at Riley's place on the roster in comparison. lol

Right after that, CJ Parker should beat Itami and Balor in a handicap match with one hand tied around his back.

No. But Riley's hiatus should allow him to start over with a clean slate. Hell i'd argue that his 2011 push was even more unrealistic than his current one. He went from being an incompetent jobber geek to beating world champions with a snap of the fingers. Riley as he is now has more credibility than he ever did as Miz's lackey.
