Say Vince decides Roman needs to lose the title to a dominant, nigh-unstoppable heel who can go through the multitude of available face challengers for about six months straight, and these are the only two options he sees as viable on the current roster. You decide, who would you rather give the spot of carrying the main event scene for the foreseeable future?
And let's assume you have to watch Raw every week during this time period for some reason. "Forget it, I'll watch whatever's on TNT instead," isn't going to fly.

There are two kinds of people in this world, when everything is stripped away and they only have one option:
A. People who like Big Show.
B. People who like Kane.
I'm with Kane.

This would require Kane to win, not just the title but an actual f***ing match

Big Show has more to offer as an attraction than Kane.
An old boring guy who doesn't do much vs a really big old boring guy who doesn't do much.

For old times' sake, I'll say Kane. Partially because he's been my favorite since I started watching back in the late 90's, and partially because I would rather watch vertical camera phone YouTube footage of a Great Khali barnburner than anything Big Show's done in the last four years.

Why don't you just make a poll asking "Would you rather be shot in the hand or the foot?" At least those options would be bearable.

If it's "The Demon" Kane and he cuts promos the way he did on SmackDown in 2010 it could actually be pretty cool.

You can still book Big Show to be a dominating force. Show is quite an attraction, even in 2015.
Kane, OTOH, is basically jobber fodder. It's a shame, but he stuck around this long.

Show is a living gimmick, and attraction. Kane is basically just a big dude unless you book him right.

I don't want whatever was growing or whatever is still growing on Kane's back to be rubbing against the title. Then again, if he did wear the title, it would cover up his disgusting outie. But then again...it's Kane...and Kane hasn't done anything of quality as a singles' star in over a decade.
Advantage: Big Show

Going off how they are right now, Big Show. He can still sort of go when he wants to and has been entertaining as hell on the microphone.
Kane really has no redeeming qualities about him right now, which is kind of unfortunate.

Big Show getting a run similar to Mark Henry in 2011 with the Hall of Pain would at least be plausible. Big Show might not be the most entertaining guy in the world, but he's still a 7-foot, 450-pound giant, and he can easily be booked as unstoppable.
Dress-pants Kane is just sad to watch, and even if he went back to the mask as "the demon Kane", you could never shake the vision of him bumbling around in Dockers, losing just about every match he's been in for the past two years.

They should both have it somehow.

Kane. I'd give it to him as a thank you, for making the best of all the awful storylines and character changes he's had over the years. At least I can say I've been entertained by Kane at various points in his career. Can't say that about Big Show. Ever.

Look I liked Big Show, but I don't know what else he can do that we haven't already seen.

Remember Big Show's ECW title run and how fun that was? Throwing guys like Sabu, Ric Flair, Batista, Lashely, etc at him and just watching him be entertaining? I'd be down for that again.

They should both have it somehow. Split the belt in half like LayCool did and have them come out with their individual sides worn like friendship bracelets for ruining things.

They should Freebird-rule it, or, failing that, only main event against each other.

Big Show.
At least he's booked to be somewhat dominant. Kane is a joke.

Kane has the capability to actually be interesting. Neither can really move to well anymore though
