Bryan can consider himself lucky. They could have called him a #! Thanks, now it's going to trend.

Doesn't make sense that Goldust isn't in the IC match... He's either injured or getting added in the next two weeks

f***ing love how they keep pairing Roman Reigns with lumbering oafs. The "lumbering oafs" are the only guys who, on paper, have the credentials where a win over them would mean something, and are "expendable" enough to feed to Reigns without anyone getting too upset. The problem is that the likes of Kane, Show, and Henry, while solid talents in their own right, aren't really reknowned for being "ring generals", and that's what Reigns needs. He needs someone who can lead him to a good match, not just feeding him top talents to beef his status. The story arc of Reigns vs. Brock has got to be the worst 'Mania main event build of all time. It's just a series of happenings that neither build towards anything or have any relation to each other. We're three weeks from the show and Reigns is starting a program with Mark Henry. I mean I get that Brock can't show up every week to build this thing, but Paul Heyman is there. It's funny with all these part timer feuds, you go on Youtube and you see these fan-made dream match music videos where the footage is all out of context promos and matches used in a tricky fashion to make it look like it was all part of an overarching story. When Wrestlemania comes around we're gonna get montages about half the matches that look identical to those.

I do have to admit, I always thought this promo didn't have enough references to turds. I look at that video, and it just reminds me that even in a PG environment, Ambrose could be the kind of reckless anti-hero who could easily be one of, if not the biggest star in the company. Instead, he's calling Daniel Bryan a turd. *sigh* The "lumbering oafs" are the only guys who, on paper, have the credentials where a win over them would mean something, and are "expendable" enough to feed to Reigns without anyone getting too upset. I wouldn't give them this much credit. I'm pretty sure that they have no idea what they are doing at this point.

I don't mind Daniel Bryan going after the IC belt. I know people say R-Truth is "the best/only good part" of this but I really, really feel would feel like his antics are what's making this look like a step down for Bryan. I gotta disagree on that bit. I think Truth is the only one making this thing at all interesting. Otherwise it's a glorified Money in the Bank match that just happens to have the most popular babyface in it. them relegating Bryan to the secondary title (with just weeks til WM) while Roman goes after the main one is a perfect metaphor from Vince. imo.

Thing is that if Reigns were the one in this match going after the IC Title instead, I don't see this angle having any wacky comedy midcard antics involved. In their never ending quest to "Make Roman Look Really Strong", they would only put throw the biggest possible names in this match so that Roman would "look really strong" beating them.

In their never ending quest to "Make Roman Look Really Strong", they would only put throw the biggest possible names in this match so that Roman would "look really strong" beating them. Knowing them they'd probably just make it Roman vs. The World match, where they all have to stop him from trying to climb the ladder and Truth sneaking in from the back trying not to look obvious attempting to take it. I get what you're saying about Bryan, but Bryan can handle comedic situations better (Team Hell No) but Roman can't handle sentences or stringing wrestling moves, so better not throw comedy at him yet. (well y'know intentional comedy, not beanstalks and succotash) I still think Truth is a lone candle of interest for me in this entire build for the title. They wanted to make me not give one shit about Bryan, and they've succeeded. Even before Truth got involved. You want him to win it. I don't. If Cena wins the US Title (ha ha...if) then Bryan having the IC title doesn't look so bad. Otherwise, it's showing that the guy they want to be on top is going for the main belt, and the guy everyone else wants JUST got added to the secondary match. With like 6 other people. It's not even one on one like Cena's match. R-Truth is reverting back to being batshit crazy and it's great. I legit want him to replace JBL and Booker at the announce table. I know a lot of people aren't a fan of it, but for me it's been a bright spot on an abysmal build to WM.

When Wrestlemania comes around we're gonna get montages about half the matches that look identical to those. I agree, there was no reason why Reigns shouldn't have came out and been face to face with Lesnar. Woudln't have had to say a word, just stand face to face with him and let Lesnar walk away. Pointless to not have them face to face in the ring. I think one of the reasons the fans didn't care about the main event was that the focus was on Orton-Rollins while the face (Reigns) was really just a background player in the entire match. Heyman needs some underneath wrestlers he can throw at Reigns. Sadly had they not messed up with Cesaro-Heyman he would have been a perfect guy to work with Reigns before Mania. Would write itself because after Mania Cesaro could get pissed and leave Heyman for protecting Brock, Heyman gets another wrestler and then Cesaro feuds with Heyman's new guy. Manager booking 101.

This feels like the build to some throwaway June PPV, not Wrestlemania lol.

So here we have respected veteran Mark Henry talking about the importance of Roman Reigns earning respect, only to be laid out by Reigns.
Wow, this really makes me want to see Reigns beat Lesnar now!

Henry even seems to take it in his stride afterwards, rather than rightfully attacking Reigns back. That's hilarious.

I read back a few pages and saw people unhappy with DB being called a Turd, but this getting Vince out of the business thing is pretty terrible and how he be fully blamed, how do you know the company will be better off without him? You do know there's more to running the company to what we see on TV?

* They previewed a Randy Orton interview earlier and said it would air on the show but it must be something that will be edited into the broadcast. * Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose defeated Bad News Barrett, Stardust and Luke Harper in the main event. Bryan got the win for his team after hitting the knee on Harper. Michael Cole interviews Bryan, Ziggler and Ambrose in the ring after the match. They start showing jealousy to each other and Ambrose leaves after calling Bryan a turd. Ziggler also calls Bryan a turd and leaves Bryan by himself in the ring. Bryan asks fans if he's a turd and they start a "no!" chant. Bryan thanks fans to end the show.Someone uploaded a video, so I'll transcribe: Bryan: Do you really think I'm a turd? Audience: A few "Yes!" chants, some "No!" chants. Bryan: Wait a sec...you guys seem to be divided here. Do you really think I'm a turd? Audience: A few "Yes!" chants, some "No!" chants. Bryan: I AM NOT A TURD...WHATEVER YOU DO...DON'T CHANT TURD AT ME LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! Audience: Turd chants Bryan: I'LL SAY IT: DON'T CALL ME A TURD! Audience: Turd chants Bryan (with a smile): Seriously, you guys have been a great crowd; you can call me whatever you want. Thank you very much Detroit! The routine was reminiscent of "weak link" Bryan, albeit more facetious. [EDIT: Also, it seems like a dark segment, so I doubt it'll air.]

You do know there's more to running the company to what we see on TV? Mostly because of the legions of ex-creative folk that repeat the same story of Vince having final say on what makes it to TV. Hear that story once or twice, sure, maybe a little bitter. Hear it from almost everyone? Can't really refute it. People think it will be better off without him because ideally it can't be any worse.

I am praying that is a dark segment. But even if it is, what the f***, why subject the live crowd to something a six year old would find asinine and juvenile?
