This is a question to people who are still watching tna (god bless you) is it worth me watching again? i dropped tna during the hogan era mainly when they turned jeff hardy heel not because im a massive jeff hardy fan but because i thought if a wrestling company is so stupid as to turn arguably wwe 2nd biggest babyface at the time plus the amount of merch he sells with all his armband and accessories into a heel i decided the company wasnt worth my time and only checked out tna on youtube every now and again plus the occasional show on challenge tv if nothing else was on.
But as of right now i am so fed up with wwe im willing to give tna another try because they have signed a few people i like (low ki and drew galloway for example) so should i pick it up again or will it annoy even more so then wwe? (that dixie carter through a table angle really set me back from tuning in again)

Here's I would explain Impact to someone that doesn't watch.
Not terrible but terribly ineffective in a lot of ways. They've improved a lot from their Spike days but there is still a lot of lingering issues. On the whole, I'd say that it's a better show than Raw most weeks but that's saying nothing. Still, it's worth giving it a try and watching an episode.

Here is how I would explain TNA to someone such as yourself:
TNA will give you a solid wrestling match or two a week but that's it. If you like story lines mixed in with your wrestling then they won't make sense. If you like entertaining characters who aren't generic then TNA isn't for you. If you like a solid company that is at least average across the board then TNA isn't for you.
But if you're a guy who loves wrestling just for matches then they will give you 1-2 matches a week that could be classed as solid.

You have James Storm a legit vet who is leading a stable of young and up comers plus sadly Abyss is there Bobby Roode is the title hungry bitter at his ex-best friend Eric Young Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy are doing their typical Hardy schtick Eric Young is amazing as an unhinged heel Aries is a great arrogant douche bag The BDC sure may dress like they are about to save the rec center from an evil corporation but they are identifiable heels. Commentary actually explains story lines as well, and the show thread explains as well. I do suggest watching it again, if the OP has any questions about current TNA just simply message me.

If you are gonna jump back in, there's really one thing that you need to do.
Get involved with the Impact threads. Seriously, it usually ends up being the most entertaining part of the night.
As for whether or not it'll annoy you more than the WWE, it really depends on the episode.

I disagree entirely. James Storm is a generic dark mysterious loner. Whoa. Bobby Roode is an angry "No Gimmicks Needed" baby face which we've seen a million times. Being a Hardy isn't a gimmick and the Hardy Boys gimmick is basically "Hey, remember us?". Eric Young is your generic heel who turned heel on a friend. Aries is a generic "I want the belt" guy just like Angle, EY, Roode and countless others in TNA. BDC are generic heel stable number 27 that we've seen a million times. As for story lines. A lot of them point blank don't make sense. Do we know why Storm randomly turned from a jolly cowboy into a dark brooding loner? No. Do we know why Angle dropped his cushy job as GM to go back to wrestling? No. Legitimate reasons that Joe and Ki turned heel? No. EY? No. The story lines that do make sense are so basic that a 12 year old playing EWR could make them up.

Storm became the loner after turning on Gunner because Gunner took his case in feast or fired, Angle quit his job because he felt he could do more as a wrestler than a GM, EY did it because he got tired of Roode getting all the attention. Honest question do you watch TNA because they explain things if you pay attention. Joe and Ki simply they got tired of doing their own thing.

You've basically proven my point though. All of those story lines are generic and uninteresting.

I'd say so, even if it's just for the EC3/Spud feud.

If you watch it, make sure you read the Impact thread afterwards or during it. It's probably the only way you can keep your sanity.

"Is it worth me watching again?" A question I've also been pondering. By all accounts - no. Nothing on this thread (or the spoilers) has sold TNA to me.......

TNA never makes me feel like I'm watching the exact same show as the previous week and never makes me look at the clock thinking "Good God, we aren't even halfway through the show"
For those two reasons, it's worth watching Impact.
