Maybe we can finally get the Hurricane + Shark Boy team? Somewhere, Jerry McDevitt's ears just pricked up like a dog's.

Maybe we can finally get the Hurricane + Shark Boy team? Haven't both of them gotten fat? I recall a photo of Helms and he had put on some weight in it.

I think Helms is injured so being an agent or just on the mic for awhile seems likely if anything.

What's he doing backstage at TNA?
Tilting his head and peering over his glasses most likely.

Might as well give my thoughts. I think Gregory Helms is yet another guy like MVP, Kennedy etc that hasn't been relevant in 5 years or more and will bring nothing of benefit to TNA. I am a fan of Helms and loved his work back in WCW and during his WWE Cruiserweight Title run but he is now 40, he's quite injury prone, the character that made him most famous is unavailable to TNA and he is yet another old guy who is taking up money and spots of 1-2 young guys who could potentially make TNA money in the future. With the recent signings of Matt Hardy and now allegedly Greg Helms you have 2 guys who are taking up spots and money from 4 guys with potential. Why does TNA need these old guys when they could be trying to sign new and fresh talent? Well who knows whats gonna happen with Helms but what "young guy" in TNA can replicate what MVP is doing right now? MVP has a stance, voice, confidence, eloquence and body language when standing wired in front of the camera. EC3 is the only one that does it better than him but that's only because EC3 hasn't been discovered by Hollywood yet cause otherwise he would have not even been in wrestling today.

Well first of all I think suggesting EC3 is a good enough for films is laughable. There was a segment on the Opie and Anthony radio show who are professional talkers and have been in the industry for around 20 years where they basically said EC3 had no clue and was embarrassing himself. He's improved since then but isn't Hollywood caliber. TNA could find the next big star. I guarantee you that there are guys working the local indies at the local rec hall who could be stars with some tuning but TNA makes no effort to find them. TNA's recruitment process is hiring indy darlings who were rejected by WWE, hiring ex WWE guys or hiring absolutely horrid local talent who is willing to work for cheap.

GWEGOWY, HAAAMS! *tilts head*
Seriously though, why is TNA turning into Smackdown Circa 2008? Are they trying to get in on some of that sweet Ugandan Power Uti money that Cliff Compton mentioned?

I havent read any spoilers for upcoming shows, so i dont know if this feud is still happening, but i wouldnt be suprised if they brought him in as a partner for The Hardys against The Revolution
Im now expecting them to do exactly that and then bring in Shannon Moore and other friends of the Hardys as well

I just had a look at their roster page on Wikipedia.
If it was any more bare boned, it would be a skeleton.

Oh come on you cant see EC3 in American Pie like comedy? Same thing that makes Sean William Scott a "Hollywood" caliber can make EC3, they know their facial expressions. That's already tons better than what Rock can do.

Gallows though is in Japan TNA probably doesn't know that. They think he's just gone into hiding in preparation for the long-awaited Aces & 8 reunion!
