Seriously, he's one of the few consistent highlights in current TNA. He's someone who was rejected by WWE who reinvented himself into something better. The man carries himself like a true superstar. He works the crowd like a heel, not someone whose trying to be a cool bad boy. His mic skills are main event level. So is his showmanship. Probably one of the few people in the company with enough credibility and charisma to be the face of the company. His tv age is still fresh. Outside of his biceps injury (Cut back on the juice, dude), he's been injury free. He may not be a workrate master but pro wrestling is more than just moves. EC3 vs Lashley feuding over the world title should be the focus point of the company not Poochie Angle. If he's not champion by the fall, TNA failed him and the company.

EC3 feels like a big star, with his look and presentation and how well they have actually protected him he should be the champion. And I expect (hope) that's where they will go with him now he's won his feud with Spud. It's the next logical step.
I'd love to see more main events like Spud and Ethan: they both proved they belonged in that position and had a fantastic match together. Now that Ethan has won this feud, and hopefully he'll go straight to the World Title, my idea of Spud becoming Champion becomes a reality - I'd love the cocky champ (EC3) accepting the challenge of Spud, someone he's already beat, and losing due to overconfidence. I think they could make a big moment out of it.

He is the best heel in the company and putting the belt on him would be great!

Bad News you are 1,000% right so you know TNA isn't going to do it. It makes complete and logical sense, so TNA isn't going to do it. Just like no one wants to see Kurt Angle main eventing and going over people in 2015, so thats what TNA does.

He isn't ready yet. Remember what happened last time TNA rushed a young guy to the title?

He isn't ready yet. Remember what happened last time TNA rushed a young guy to the title? Who? Magnus? TNA failed him by booking him as a total loser who needed tons of outside interference to win matches when he was champion. If they kept him credible like they did when he was an up and coming face instead of stripping him of everything that made him look special, his reign would been better received. Add that the moment he had to go in on his own without help, he lost clean to a long time comedy jobber, Eric Young.

TNA have done a lot of things wrong the past few years.
Building up EC3 is actually the one thing they have done right and I am shocked they haven't derailed him at all at this point.
Props to Ethan for turning something that could have been the death of his credibility into pure gold.

I don't know
Yeah he has been built but if he barely defeated Spud, I can't buy him defeating guys like Lashley or Roode. He needs a couple of more tests.
He reminds me of The Miz, that he could be a coward champ that you can buy that anybody could defeat him.
Who knows maybe he can prove me wrong, I just found out that Gaburick is really high on him because Big John created the character, but the performer took it to another level.
It's interesting also that he has history with Angle as the guy that injure him, maybe they can have a short program. Also I would book Carter less than a joke, i don't know maybe I would have him bloody up Shark Boy and retire him, then win the BFG gauntlet all by cheating then beating Angle.

Agreed, if he's not TNA World Champ by time 2015 ends, I'll be surprised(and disappointed).

Yeah, this is a great idea. And the payoff will be ECIII losing to Kurt Angle three times during the Impact Temple tapings. Seriously, this guy has done quite a bit with the hand that he was dealt, and what should be the key to TNA's future might be instead the beginning of the end.

I thought Christopher Daniels should have been the next World Heavyweight Champion of the World and look how that turned out.

He absolutely should be. But you really get the feeling he's going to outgrow TNA rather than pull them up with him.

See, that woukd imply TNA pushing a new generation of stars ass they have lost so many of their old stalwarts. Why do that when we can push Abyss, Anderson, or Young again?

See, that woukd imply TNA pushing a new generation of stars ass they have lost so many of their old stalwarts. Why do that when we can push Abyss, Anderson, or Young again? Those are 3 of the guys who need TNA more than TNA needs them. If it was up to me, they would be gone years ago. Young could had stayed but I wouldn't made him an instant main eventer without undoing the years of comedy and jobbing. TNA is in that late WCW spot where they got no options but to push younger, cheaper talent but they are refusing to do so because they got to find justification for having the older, higher priced talent on the roster. I thought Christopher Daniels should have been the next World Heavyweight Champion of the World and look how that turned out. Daniels, for whatever reasons, never had boosters in TNA during all of the creative regime changes.

Absolutely, said the same thing in the Impact thread last week. He's definitely the next guy who needs to get the company on his back and see what he can do. I think Angle will win the title and drop it to EC3, who will have the likes of Lashley and Roode to defend against, should freshen up the main event scene.
