Tickets were supposed to go on sale today at 10 AM. According to Ticketmaster literally 10 seconds after they went on sale, there are NO tickets available at all. So either tickets sold out before the general public sale happened or Ticketmaster is completely screwed up right now while thousands of people are refreshing the page every 5 seconds trying to get into a sale that doesn't exist.

They had several presales over the last week. Most of the tickets likely sold during those sales.

There were over 3,500 tickets available on Stubhub before tickets even went on sale today. Considering that's about 1/4 of the arena, that's f***ing ridiculous

I wish I hadn't missed the presale, I just bought two probably $50-70 tickets for $150 each from Stubhub. f***, what a disaster.

Considering that's about 1/4 of the arena, that's f***ing ridiculous I'd say that bots probably bought up most of the pre-sale and on-sale today. Then 3rd party will resell them for a mark up, completely screwing fans over. TM knows these things happen and don't stop them.

Trying to get Royal Rumble tickets a few months ago was a similar situation.

Officially giving up. Maybe something will be cheap on Stubhub in a few months, but I'm not holding my breath

lol looks like I won't be going to SummerSlam then. I was planning to go since I'm in the process of moving to New York, but I can't justify buying tickets for a re-sale vendor at an inflated price. Especially when I could go to an indie show I'd enjoy more for $20 or less.

Wait, THAT many people want to see World Champion Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton? It'll probably be their 14th or 15th match by then too!

So bummed. Was planning on buying 4 tickets and making a huge weekend out of it with my friends, but it's typical Ticketmaster nonsense. It's bad enough that the fees are outrageous, but they pull the pre-sale bs which means the majority of people (you know, the people who actually want to go to the event) stuck paying re-seller prices.
The whole ticket industry is messed up, yet there doesn't seem to be anything done about it.
Oh well, there is always Fan Axxess I can go too if the lineup is good, and i'm sure there will be some killer indie shows that weekend.

Given the savvy/money entailed in attending this show I imagine Summerslam will have a tough crowd, especially when the only comparisons I'm seeing are to the ticket situation for Rumble 2015.

Probably because the only people going to the show are absolutely insane given what they'd have to pay on Stubhub for tickets

Does SummerSlam usually sell out that quickly?

Hopefully literally everyone in the crowd for the house show last week bought tickets that I hope were available at the box office at face value.

I was going to get tickets on pre-sale, but they wanted $120 for the top row of the arena. I refuse to pay that much for shitty seats.

Does SummerSlam usually sell out that quickly? I dunno, but this being WWE's second biggest event of the year, I'm more than certain that the name itself sells. Whether or not those tickets are actually used that night remain to be seen.
