Mentioned this about Brooke in the KO pics thread, and its actually a note worthy topic. As much as we may scoff LOLTNA, there are some stars who have done far better in TNA than they did elsewhere, and some who improved drastically. Brooke is an obvious example; in WWE all she was good for was dance segments, playing second fiddle to Kelly Kelly and Layla. In TNA, she busted her ass (pun!) to improve in the ring and has become a damn good wrestler for it. On that same note, Gail Kim has always been far better in TNA that she was in either of her WWE runs. And I'll go so far as to argue that Christian actually improved in TNA; he had been slacking in WWE by the time he was released, but in TNA he was able to reinvent himself and get some of his motivation back. Granted, he's done even better since going back to WWE, but still. Any other examples?

Lashley is better today than he was in WWE, probably just due to being much more experienced now.

Bully Ray for sure. His got in the best shape of his career. He matches where solid and was a damn good heel and face. I wouldn't have guess a guy name Bully could be face but it worked.
Rhino I felt he was better in TNA then he was in the WWE. Raven TNA work was much more memorable then his WWE run. The first year he was on fire in the ring and on the mic.

Ethan Carter III, although that might owe more to being given a chance to do something more than it is just general improvement.

EC3 is the one that you can look at and say "man why did wwe let him go?" Not that he was what he is now back then but he is the big one.
Taryn and Brooke went from girls that shouldn't be in the ring to decent but I think almost any girl would get better if they weren't on WWE's main roster.
I think Christian's TN run showed that he could hold his own in main event programs and they were better than his WWE return.
Does Chris Harris count?

Tomko It still brings a tear to my eye about how both the company and his own addictions f***ed him up I loved his team with AJ Styles. I thought they had great chemistry together (in and out of the ring)

I think Steiner's legacy is thought of a lot more highly now thanks to his TNA run.

Scott Steiner, Lashley, and Christian were the first three that came to mind.
As Chaz said, Steiner is remembered a lot more fondly now because of TNA than if he had just faded into obscurity after his WWE run. Having a bunch of awful matches with HHH is no way to close out a career so I'm glad he bounced back.
Lashley is far more experienced now than he was in WWE and, as such, his work has improved quite a bit. In addition to that, TNA actually knew how to use him properly by having him be a monster heel with a mouthpiece.
Christian probably wouldn't have gotten a world title run in WWE if it wasn't for him raising his stock in TNA. He was spinning his wheels in 2005 when he left WWE. He did the best work of his career (IMO) in TNA and had a good spot (better than pretty much any singles push he got in his first run) on the card waiting for him when he came back to WWE because of it.

Rhino's TNA run is my favourite of what he's done throughout his career.

Pope D'Angelo Dinero. It's amazing how that guy went from a decent promo in WWE to cutting ones like he was in TNA.

R-Truth. He pretty much left wwe as Black Road Dogg. He came back to the company very different.

For awhile there, I thought Anderson was much better than his WWE run, mainly because that run was full of injuries and wellness failures ... when Anderson came in, he was pushed as a star and had a brilliant feud with Kurt Angle that revitalised his career.
In 2015, he's more than overstayed his welcome.

Knux for me got a better shot to shine in TNA His match against Aries last year showed what star power Knux really had/has. They should really just let him be this generation's Bam Bam Bigelow.
