I kinda wish Jeff would just go back to WWE for one last big money run there. The problem however is that due to his drug arrest there really isn't a viable way to push him that hard at this point, at least not consistently. He can't really travel overseas, thus he missed the entire massive TV tapings in the UK. Does he own the Willow persona? A Willow vs Bray Wyatt feud would be great.

If TNA "used Jeff Hardy better" people would complain about them pushing a WWE alumnus over homegrown/indy talents I would have no problem with it. Jeff's super over and he busts his ass every night. Sometimes you see posts and then you read them and you're like I endorse this post and then you hit the THUMBSUP button. Jeff Hardy was awesome in 2008-2009 in WWE as a top guy, and it's sad that TNA has struggled to use him well, to the extent that Willow occurred.

Honestly, I could see him doing the Jericho/RVD schedule. With the E' supposedly wanting to make the IC and US championships more prestigious, it's not like Jeff would be expected to be their top draw or attend tours.

They paint him up and let him throw himself off of high spots, what more can they do with him?

Seems kind of unfair to give one guy special treatment over all others.

If TNA knew how to properly book their roster, the wrestling landscape would have changed years ago.

Sure, so people can complain about him being a "WWE Reject" and "washed up" and "Just a drug addict" and "Hey stop pushing WWE guys over your own guys".
People always seem to want something afterwards but you better believe if Jeff had the title folks would be constantly complaining about it. Now that he doesn't, "Hey why didn't they use him better?"

TNA's UK shows are their biggest, best drawing shows. Jeff can't be on them. So in the weeks/months leading up to that taping they have to de-emphasize him or write him out, then however many years of TV they tape at once for the trip, and the next few weeks/months working him back in? That's a tough spot for TNA to themselves in, if he's to be their franchise.

Quite frankly, I've never forgiven him for Victory Road. I don't really blame you for that. I don't think I'd ever put a top title on him again. He should've been fired on the spot for that shit.

Quite frankly, I've never forgiven him for Victory Road. I don't really blame you for that. I don't think I'd ever put a top title on him again. He should've been fired on the spot for that shit. I actually agree with TNA for the most part on their handling of it after the fact. I would have suspended him without pay until he cleaned himself up, fired him if he couldn't, then brought him back in a reduced position and had his new ceiling be a JTTS. I'd never even think about putting a top title on him again. That way you come off as a company giving a guy a break AND still get to squeeze what you can out of his name and merch. From what I heard TNA's done pretty much that. I will fault TNA for him somehow making it through the entrance out to in front of the crowd in that state, but their handling of it after has been fair enough. For the record: I'd put Matt Hardy in the same damn position after that fake suicide shit. If he claimed it was because he wasn't sober I'd keep him off the roster til he got himself sorted then use him alongside his brother to elevate new teams rather than be "THE" team. The closest they'd ever come to being the top team is a short reign or two so the fact that they were basically JTTS wouldn't be completely obvious. In both instances it seemed TNA actually did something in the way that makes the most sense. I can't believe I'm fully agreeing with how TNA's using some talent, but I am. That makes the thread topic's answer: "Why don't TNA utilize Jeff Hardy better?"
They're using BOTH of the Hardys as best as the Hardys will let them.
