100% Christian Cage. He was brilliant in TNA and his run in 2007 with Christian's Coalition is one of my favorite things from TNA's history. On a similar note, goofy redneck heel AJ Styles. Dude was hilarious.

For all the ups and downs of a Russo-led TNA, I miss the sense of hope and ambition the company had at the time.

Dude was hilarious. Yesssssss! Most people hated that shift because they wanted him to be the top guy, but damn he was good at it. Easily his best run from a character standpoint imo. Worked perfectly with straight-man Tomko as well. The whole group was money.

Nowadays it's like that guy who works at your local hardware store and still wears his High School Sports Jacket and acts like he's still King and has a head full of hair despite having done nothing since then.

AJ turning face because he accidentally kissed Karen Angle and that apparently making the marriage legally binding was TNA-tastic in the best possible way.

Alex Shelley, whether it was solo, Paparazzi Productions or the Motor City Machine Guns, dude was awesome, wish he would come back and get either this time a serious X-Division run or put him in the World Title contention or bring back Sabin and reform the guns or even bring the Time Splitters to TNA.

Newly heel James Storm with Jackie as valet.
Storm had just turned heel in late 06. And his late 06 and 07 run was just fantastic. One of the best mid-card heel work since guys like Jake Roberts and Rick Rude.
He didn't need any groups or big plans, just going out there and pissing people off and cheating and beating the shit out of dudes. His feud with drunk Rhino was so hilariously one sided in favor of Storm.
It was in the old environment of the old chaotic Impact Zone too where people would cheer for who they wanted. People just enjoyed the nastiness Storm would bring. With countless beer bottles over heads....
