Mixed reaction to last night's show - those who attended live seemed to enjoy it, although no killer matches or anything. Those watching on iPPV either thought it was alright, one saying Gargano/Fox saved the show, and other people saying it was a terrible show that made them give up on EVOLVE. Let's see what today's show brings (starting at 3pm PT/6pm ET)...
Ricochet vs. PJ Black NON-TITLE MATCH: Drew Galloway vs. Uhaa Nation Johnny Gargano & Rich Swann vs. Brian Cage & Caleb Konley Biff Busick vs. Chris Hero Timothy Thatcher vs. Tommy End AR Fox vs. Ethan Page Drew Gulak vs. TJ Perkins
Following that, it's the first King of Indies show, starting at 8pm PT/11pm ET...
FIRST ROUND MATCH: B-Boy vs. Brian Cage FIRST ROUND MATCH: Jeff Cobb vs. Rik Luxury FIRST ROUND MATCH: Rey Horus vs. Lil Cholo FIRST ROUND MATCH: Jody Kristofferson vs. Willie Mack FIRST ROUND MATCH: Jeckles vs. Luster the Legend FIRST ROUND MATCH: Adam Thornstowe vs. Shaun Ricker FIRST ROUND MATCH: Vincenzo Massaro vs. El Mariachi FIRST ROUND MATCH: Dylan Drake vs. Timothy Thatcher THREE WAY MATCH: Joey Ryan vs. Matt Cross vs. Ricochet 20 MAN BATTLE ROYAL
And Kaiju Big Battel, at 11:55pm PT/2:55am ET, has what it has.

Senorlariato on twitter was posting up gifs from Evolve 39. Definitely made the show look great. But everything looks better in gif form. Except a tug of war for the title.

I'm watching Evolve 40 right now. It's been pretty damn underwhelming thus far. They simply aren't on the same level as ROH.

Really liking Veda Scott on commentary for the SHIMMER 71 event. Nikki Storm vs Cherry Bomb was so good. Kimber Lee and Kay Lee Ray tearing it up right now. Jessicka Havok against Cheerleader Melissa is going to be insane.

These King of the Indies shows are fantastic. I wasn't expecting much... glad to be proven wrong.

Juvi has a mask for some reason, and Ultimo Dragon has Sonny Oono.
Edit: I can't recommend these shows (King of Indies) enough. Adam Throwstone vs. Luster the Legend is a serious MOTYC.

The WWN Supershow was a frickin BLAST! I don't know how it came across on iPPV, but really great show live.
Tommy End is a beast! Dude had some crazy good knee strikes during the 4 way. I'll be def checking out his future matches.
The Shine 6 person tag match was normal wrestling funzies stuff. Entertaining, but not blow your mind great or anything.
PJ Black vs AR Fox was super fun to see live, even if the lights went out midway through the match. At one point Fox jumped the rail right in front of me and then used the rail to dive on to Black. Funny part was he shook it first and saw it was too loose so he said, "Please hold this." and then jumped up on it after I steadied it. Then actually said "thank you" as casually as can be as he lept off it. Really fun moment.
Gargano/Galloway got moved to midshow so Galloway could catch a flight, but still put on a great match. Galloway is so clearly WWE trained its ridiculous, the guy knows how to find the cameras whereever he's at in the ring.
The place was coming undone for Thatcher vs Hero. I'd never seen Thatcher before but he's got great presence. Very solid match that had a shocker of an ending.
Main event was fun. Anytime you get those 4 guys in the ring, you know its going to pop off. Great seeing A Double live again. Its night and day compared to seeing him in TNA right now.

Man, I tried watching this show online and who ever is producing these shows for ippv needs to be replaced.
The show live was great, but the shoddy camera work (I mean, are those SD cameras?) and generally bad lighting for camera makes it very tough to watch online.
Sal needs to invest some money into production and get a better camera crew or something because it kills the show when you watch it on wwn.

I managed to catch the main event of Kaiju Big Battel (barely caught it after NXT) and Mercury Rising.
The one match of Kaiju was a lot of fun. Super Potato deleted this big blue monster with a shot from a manhole cover in a pizza box. I'm sorry I wasn't able to see the whole thing. Mercury Rising was fun too. I managed to meet Ricochet, Roderick Strong, Austin Aries, Johnny Gargano, and Chris Hero (who is such a cool guy). Also got one of the classic Generation Next shirts which was pretty neat. Hero/Thatcher was bonkers with how loud the crowd got.
