You really can see the conviction in Sensational Sherri's face when she flings him to the ground full force during that brawl with Luna Vachon. Haha did he ever return after that? I think he was around one more week after that and then he was gone.

Rob Bartlet: Do you know who Doink reminds me of? Vince McMahon: Who? Rob Bartlet: That guy from Burger King.
I am not sure if he was trying to be funny or forgot that Ronald McDonald is from McDonalds.

as a comedian, i would offer that comedians probably shouldn't ever be sports commentators and the whole notion doesn't really make sense
in most cases you get rob bartlett, most likely case you get someone who doesn't care enough to try to pay attention, and even in the best case scenario you'd just get kevin nash on thunder (which to be fair, while extremely funny, isn't exactly good at selling the product. also, if anyone owns a wrestling promotion and is hiring, i will take the job i just said shouldn't exist)

Rob Bartlett was the proto Mark Madden without the fashion sense.

I think my favorite moment was when Vince asked him who was going to win a match (I think it was between Rick Martel and Mr. Perfect) and Bartlett responded "I thought you told me Perfect was winning..." to which Vince immediately jumped in saying "Well, at the time, I thought he had the better chance but I think Martel might pull it out tonight!" or some such cover.
Pretty funny.

Just watched the episode where Bartlett was announcing with Gorilla and Heenan that was mentioned earlier in the thread."
Bartlett (doing a Vince McMahon impersonation the whole show): "It's RAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW"
Heenan: "Do we have any of those stun guns anywhere?"
Gorilla: "Boy I wish we did"
Bartlett: "It's Monday Night RAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWW"
Also saw one of the early episodes where they advertised the Steiners appearing with Vince saying "Ladies and Gentlemen next we have Scott and Rob - the Steiner Brothers!" (Rob is Rick Steiner's real name), during the Steiner's entrance Savage had an awesome cover when he said "You know Vince McMahon the Steiners are pretty upset that you messed up their name back there and they said they're gonna take it out on these two guys right now", and Vince said "I hope they don't take it out on me!"

Gorilla and Heenan finally on the same team. A sight to behold.
